Puppies or no Puppies?!? I mated my female yorkie, Sophie, with my male. My male is only 3 lbs. My female is a little over 7 lbs. Sophie would be due tomorrow or Monday by my calculations. I took her to the Vet 2 weeks ago for xrays. He didn't see any puppies, but there were a few questionable areas he thought might be stomach contents and a filled colon. Has anyone with experience got any suggestions? On Thursday she was acting very weird, not eating much these past few days, her temp went down to 99. I took it again Friday and it was up to 101.5 (normal). I'm just wondering if anyone had pups missed on an xray? She's nesting like crazy on my couch and bed and just a little cranky. Am I crazy or could she have a pup in there. My vet said to play it out til the 30th and if she hasn't had anything by then, obviously she's not, but the suspense is killing me? i

I have heard of x-rays not picking up all of the puppies; x-ray shows 2 for example and there are really 3. Not sure about not showing any and still pregnant, though. Was it too soon for x-rays possibly? What about an ultrasound. Good luck, keep us posted as to what happens.

Well, we pass ed the date and absolutely no puppies., We'll try next heat. She's still young and it was only her second heat, so I'm kind of glad. I just think my tiny male had trouble mounting her. I know he's ok because he already had a litter. Thanks for your advice.
