Hello I'm new to Yorkietalk. I have a little baby named penny

. I'm from garfield new jersey and i've been looking to socialize her. And i would like to met up with other yorkie owners. Penny is a little over four months and she is terrified of other dogs and animals. Please help

Cookie and I live in Clifton so I'm really close to you. Cookie is 1 yr. and 2 months old but she's still as playful as when we first brought her home.

It will just take time and reassurance for Penny to open up.

Bkessler and I have been talking about meeting up soon but w/ so many things going on this month on the weekends its been kinda hard. Actually lets set a play date; how does Sat., June 25th sound? We can go to a doggie park or something like that. Well u tell me if u think too many doggies at once would be too much for Penny.

By too many I mean about 3 yorkies.

I'm in staten island but I would meet in Jersey..I too am trying to get Maximus socialized with other dogs as well

This weekend coming up I will be out of town.. I am going to Brick to my bf's parents house... Maybe the following weekend.. Like that saturday I think its probably the 2nd of July

Yes i would like to meet up Sat. Jn 25th sounds good for right now I would let you know Wed. if i will not be able to make it. I was talking to a trainer she told me as long as i bring treats and praise her when she doesn't run

away to give her a treat. So i don't think three yorkies are to many.

Hey, I live in Virginia but Panzers daddy lives in NJ, so I've been meaning to come up there and he's made the drive before. I'm usualy in the New Brunswick area but can also be farther north as well. I would love to meet other yorkies on my travels!

Hello all .. Lucky and I are located in Hudson County. Lucky loves to play with other dogs, but never had a chance to play with his own breed yet. It would be great if we get a meet going sometime soon. Anyone know of any good doggy parks here in NNJ? Lucky and I usually hang out at Liberty State Park.

Just an idea, how about we set a date and place for a small YT BBQ at a preferred park? of course we need to plan ahead ..

Can't wait to play and hang out with my NNJ and surrounding neighbors
