OMG! I am so sorry you are going through this... I have a puppy from Denise as well and she had a kidney issue. She is fine now... going on three in June. It will be expensive but have all the testing done that you can... I fould the kidney issue when I had a body scan for a liver shunt. There are laws protecting you from fraudulent sales but I know that you are already in love with your baby... Feel free to private message me if you need to vent!!! I wish we could shut this nightmare down!!! |

Seems we cannot keep up with it and she just continues on and on with the same type of things. Disregarding the pain , suffering and expense she is causing to all these poor people and the puppies they love. So very sad....:mad::mad::mad: I sure do wish there was something more I could do to stop her.:thumbdown |
i think it is terrible for someone to sell sick puppies or to keep breeding dogs with issues... but, could there possible be another reason for liver or kidney diseases? maybe VACCINOSIS????????? Over vaccinating???????? just wondering if anyone has considered this important issue which is mostly ignored as a non issue....were these dogs revaccinated after recieving a full set? were they given lepto? do they get rabies vaccine at a young age? are they treated with poison like frontline contains? always want to blame the breeder....what is best for the dog is the real question here.... |

This is not amusing to those of us who have suffered emotionally and monetarily due to the greed of this unscrupulous puppy broker. I am quite certain you could find somewhere more effective to do your picketing. I resolved my problem with her through the expense of hiring a lawyer.:thumbdown:thumbdown |

if you post her actual name on here, more people would see it on a google search...or the name of her kennel when talking about her...that might help... might help save one person.. there needs to be better laws to protect the dogs.. maybe president obama can help..you know.. the hope and change... |
sickens me what people will do for money |

We drove from NY to MA after a lengthy telephone converstation. I had recently lost both a 12 yr old Yorkie due to old age illness and a new 9 mo old puppy due to a broken leg, as a result of anesthesia, so the last thing I needed was this aggravation. I was already heartbroken. She assured me the parent dogs were on site there and when we arrived she only had an old aunt (supposedly) and another little male puppy who could barely stand on his feet. Insisted on showing us her home ( who cared we werent buying a house). The puppy we went to see kept having diareaha on the floor and she was insisting it was from some greasy chicken she had fed her the night before. Washing her butt over and over in the kitchen sink of her "fabulous" Country home, which is/was also a bed and breakfast.....ewwwww Seems nothing has deterred her and she has only expanded her venture. If my story can save anyone from the grief and expense we endured I will just try to keep it going forever.Glad you posted your comments so that I had the opportunity to reply and refresh this WARNING. :thumbdown:thumbdown:thumbdown:thumbdown |
I can see why you drove to her house, she went on and on and on with me, everything she says is a LIE... but I will tell you I did the same thing with the little one I just purchase however I ended up with a healthy baby so far.. although she had kennel cough, and severe ear infections and I nearly died when you said washing thier bums in the sick.. That is exactly what happened at the house I went to when I purchased mine.. mom had the dirtiest bum ever, dad had a filthy bum too, so I do understand where your comming from , but honestly I was looking at someones post from today and a puppymill well store, was shut down believe it or not there are pictures of people picketing which could be why it was shut down.. at least they were warning potential buyers....I was going throu chemo and radiation at the time I tried to purchase a dog from her, she new full well my situation I explained it to her in its entirety , I was not only sick but very very depressed and she still tried to scam me and take my money, It just didnt feel right so I opted out.. but shame on her because she told me she sells to many cancer patients.. :( |

Yes, I have seen these pickets but I am afraid she is too small an operation for many people to care. Yorkies.com does have the warning posted on his sight and that is a very popular Yorkie sight. I hope you ended up with a healthy dog after all that. Smokie is fine now after we had her all taken care of and cured. I would just love to save others from the misery that goes with all this and spoils the fun of a getting a new puppy. Like we had to keep her isolated from our other dogs for 2 weeks while she was under treatment. My Husband lived in the family room with her and I rarely even touched her. Sure did not want to spread anything around the house to my other little Yorkies ! |
well if this helps you ALL SAVED ME from her... so thank you for this thread... We moved on and found a wonderful family we can trust rather then purchasing from her. Its so sad... :( |

Much good luck to you and your new baby !!!!:thumbup: |
Amazing! I am so glad I came across this site, I was suppose to meet with her later today! I was researching yorkies this morning and came across this site. when I first saw the thread, " A BAD yorkie reseller" I wasn't going to even click on it because I thought I was going to the best breeder in the northeast!!! Imagine my shock when seeing she was the very opposite!! Her website makes her yorkies seem god like.. I did get a little suspicious though when she didn't talk much about dog shows on the site or list actual champions like clover hill did, and the picture of the couple in front of the airplane was a bit odd too. (really how tacky to take a family picture in front of your plane? ) but she was so convincing I ignored the warning signs!!! Can you change the topic to Beware: Denise and Country Home Yorkies, it might also show up in google results easier. I bet some people see the topic but don't think to click on it because Denise makes you feel so confident about her yorkies. |

Lovely website also....FAKE HEALTH GUARANTEE with every puppy. This is quite an experience....JUST AS LONG AS YOU DO NOT PURCHASE A DOG !!!!! |
I almost bought one from her... I almost got a pup from this woman. Her web-site had good newspaper reviews and she was also backed up by Animal Planet. I came by too many bad reviews and at first believed they were lies. The last time I spoke to this woman she stated the dogs don't come registered and on her web-site it says they are registered. That's when it hit me, in one of the reviews someone complained about her pups not being registered and that they're brokered pups etc etc....that's when I realized there may be some truth to the bad reviews....Don't judge a book by it's cover...right! |
Reputable Yorkie breeder just had a litter of 4 pups! Reputable Yorkie breeder in our area just had a litter of 4 pups!!!! I was going to get one but my husband told me I was nuts because we have 2 pups already!!! I've heard so many good things about this woman and if you are interested please contact Cathy from Shenanigans. She's listed here: Yorkshire Terrier Club of America I WISH I HAD BOUGHT ONE FROM HER!!!! This woman is good!!!! |
