Hi! My husband and I live with our two yorkies Annie and Nora (6 months) in Carroll Gardens, Brooklyn. I am so excited for summer - the trips to Prospect Park the last few weekends have been really fun!

For the NYCer's, what's your favorite place to take dogs in the city?

What's your favorite shop?

Do you walk your yorkies or are they purely inside dogs?

My name is Evelyn, and I live with my husband, Joe, in Bay Ridge, Brooklyn. It's been just over a month now since we brought home our babies...Harry is 15 weeks old and Paris is 14 weeks old. He's the smaller of the two...weighing in at 2 lbs; she's 3-1/2 lbs. Our home also consists of our 19-1/2 yr old daughter, our two West Highland White Terriers, who are sisters, and 5 years old...Amy & Mandy...and also our 3 cats! Yep...a full house! Only the youngest of my cats adores the Yorkies..the other 2 hide!

Hello Brooklyn! I was born and raised in Boro Park! We moved to Prescott, Arizona in July and brought our 12 yr. old female Yorkie with us (of course)! She has had a real hard time adjusting to the new environment. But- now has been diagnosed with kidney disease. It was wonderful to read your email and think of the day we brought CoCo home. She was so tiny. God Bless all animals and I know you are surely watching over a bunch of them.

i know someone named joe in bay ridge who has a yorkie! i live in forest hills, queens and my yorkie's name is Archie.

Well, it's very nice to meet you and Archie!! I always passed Forest Hills, when I took the LIRR to work in Manhattan (back in 1965), I always tought it was the most beautiful place to live.
Yorkie's are just the most wonderful little dogs. My puppy is not well now, I received a call from my NY Vet. today with his input and will also go to another Vet on Monday!! The Vet we have now, doesn't seem to be helping her.
We have to take care of these little ones.
It was nice to hear from you.

Hi Anne! I used to live in Cobble Hill but I could no longer stand paying $1200 for a dungeon studio with no windows....LOVED the area though! I loved walking down the promenade

I now lived NJ but Mason and I go into the city almost every weekend to go play! We love hanging out around Union Square....especially in Trixie & Peanut!! Have you ever been there? they have sooooo many cute stuff for furbabies, it's ridiculous! OH and you also have to go the day you get paid

I'm stuck in Yuma, Arizona.... with the Marines... LOL... for the next 3 YEARS.. AGGHH!!!

OH SURE!!! we already have 8 million people here, what the heck is one more! NYC is such an awesome city, I can't imagine living anywhere else

Hi! I have a male yorkie, Benji, who will be 5 months on May 8th. We live in Queens near the Forest Park dog run. They have a small dog are that is sectioned off. I was wondering if anyone would like to get together with their babies, young and old. I think my Benji would love to meet other yorkiess. He gets along well with other furbabies and kitties. He has brothers - a shephered, lab, and a dachshund. But it would be nice to see him play with fellow yorkies. Anyone game for a Sunday?

ohh, too bad - If I didn't live so far I would've loved to meet up with you. I have a girl Yorkie that will be 5 months on May 2nd, but I live upstate in Rockland County. Maybe next time..
