| Southern NH meetup? Hi All, I have a 7 month small Yorkie furbaby named Emma. We just got back from Fl and I'm looking for a Yorkie meet up in the Southern NH area. My baby hasn't been socialized with other dogs she is only 3.5 lbs and I'm kind of afraid she could get hurt. Does anyone know of any meet ups in the Nashua, Windham, Manchester, NH area. Any info would be appreciated. |

| Hi YorkieTalk Newbie! My husband and I recently adopted a yorkie in April and live in the Southern NH area. Our little guy is named Aiden and he also weighs 3.5 pounds, just like your Emma! We've been trying to find some nice playmates for him. We've been to the dog park in Derry - they have an area for large dogs and one for small dogs. We usually go into the large area just because there's never any small dogs in the small area! The dogs there are usually pretty nice, but ya just never know - so we've told ourselves that if we ever go back, we're just going to take him into the small area. It would be great to meet up with you at the Derry dog park sometime. I'm sure Emma and Aiden would be perfect playmates! -AidenBoy |

| Hey, So nice to hear from someone in the area. We have been by the Derry Dog Park many times but never stopped. I think it would be a great idea to have Aiden and Emma meet. Unfortunately we will be leaving in a few weeks for the winter. Maybe we could meet before we leave or if not we will difinitely have to meet up next spring. I have not socialized Emma with many dogs because, like your Aiden, she is so small I am afraid she will get hurt. I am so excited for Emma to have a new friend. Do you go to the park during the week or on the weekend? |

| Hi Hello everyone. I'm from Atkinson and would love to have a meetup. I went to the dog park in Derry and didn't like it at all. I usually meet my friend from Tewksbury MA at the park in Windham. She has a Yorkie also. It's just a regular park, but is very nice. Is anyone familiar with it? I can't remember the name of it right now. They have a yummy ice cream stand right there also. That is my favorite thing.. Lol

| hey - the Derry dogpark is the only dogpark i've been to - so i don't know how it compares to others. the park that you talk about - is it fenced in? Aiden is still learning commands and I wouldn't want him running off and him not responding to me when i tell him to "come"! loveyorkies47 - when do you leave for FL? we won't be around this weekend, but if you're still around NEXT weekend - we could totally meet up - maybe on Sunday the 18th... what do you think? hope everyone is having a good week - the weather has been crazy! |

| The park I am talking about in Windham is just a regular park. We keep leashes on our pups. At least it's a place to get together. The pups still really love seeing each other. I won't be available after 11/5. I'm having a neck fusion. Maybe it will be something to look forward to in the Spring. Enjoy your day.

| manchester Hello! Hazel is 3.5 months old and is almost 3 pounds... She plays with the puppies in the training class but they are all larger. I would love to meet up with some yorkies her size! Please let me know if anyone wants to meet up in the manchester area! I have not taken her to a dog park yet. |

| We're around this weekend and totally wouldn't mind a meetup in Manchester! Aiden loves other dogs of all kinds and would love your Hazel too - I'm sure of it! He really is a sweet little guy and loves to play! Where would be a good place to meet? I'm thinking Saturday would be better for us - seeing as how the Trick-or-Treating is going on on Sunday - and of course, the Patriots game! Or early Sunday works as well. Hope you're having a good week! |

| I live in Hudson NH... I'd do a meetup if anyone else wants to. PM me because I rarely come to this part of the board. I should more often but I forget! LOL I have 2 boys, they are 4 years old and one is about 5.5lbs and the other 9lbs. I need to get my 9lber fixed but my little guy really REALLY needs some more socialization. My 9lber (Fletcher) is a love bug and loves all dogs but my little guy (Dexter) is a total mommas boy and does not do well with other dogs, he is not mean or anything just ignores them to get to his momma. so sad! haha

| Southern NH I just picked up my little Boo a couple of weeks ago and she's currently a shade over 2 pounds and is 10 weeks old today. If anyone is in the Nashua, NH area there is an organization called "Nashua D.O.G." (D.O.G. = Dog Owner's Group) and they've been trying to get a dog park built in the Nashua area. Their website is Nashua Dog Owners Group - Bringing an Off Leash Dog Park to Nashua, New Hampshire and they currently hold play groups on Northwest Blvd in Nashua. Also, if you are in the Hampton, NH area there is a Resident only beach that in the off season they don't check for parking stickers and it is a dog friendly beach. It is called Northside Park and it is on the way to Rye. I'm lucky as my folks have 2 pugs so I get to take her for visits, but I would like to get her used to more dogs. A friend has 2 silkies so we may have a play date soon and my neighbor has a maltese so I luck out with smaller dogs in my area. |

YT Addict | Were you guys able to oganize a meet up? I'm in Newburyport (about 10 minutes south of the NH border) I have a 3lb little lady that is missing her old meet up that was in Danvers MA at a dog boarding company. They just stopped the meet up one day. It was great becuase it was indoors and yorkie only so I didnt need to worry about Lula getting hurt while off leash. Currently looking for a new group to meet up with so Miss Lula can play

| This is a group in Andover, MA. I am kind of near you in Bedford NH... but a Southern NH Yorkie meet up just never seemed to happen here. Try this link The North Of Boston Yorkshire Terrier Meetup Group (Danvers, MA) - Meetup I keep saying I'm going to go but I never make it back down here during the week. I work in North Andover but never have my boys with me at work. Its about a 40 min drive so I don't come down on the weekends after doing the drive every weekday. If you do it, let me know how it is!
