| Brad's Day Today I decided to take Bradley Taylor to the city for a nice relaxing time. We started out by going to the Sample Sale that was posted. We weren't really impressed with anything that was there, but it was nice to socialize with some other furbabies. From there we got a snack, and parked closer to Union Square. After a short walk we were at the dog run, and we did some people watching while we ate. The other dogs weren't up to Brads liking, so he didn't have a great time until there were only a few of us left. Then it was back to the car, and off to the Boat Basin at 79th Street. We had some lunch, and the friendly waitress brought Brad a treat, and some water. Brad wasn't enjoying the ground, so eventually he ended up on the wall that overlooked the water, and the walkway below. He loved watching the other dogs walk by. We finished eating, and went to the 87th Street Dog run which is very nice because there is a seperate area to keep the big dogs away. Brad loved it there. He made a few new friends, and played more than I've seen in a long time. Finally Brad started to seem a little tired, so we hiked back to the car where he fell right asleep until we got home. Needless to say he's pretty worn out now. I haven't seen him in the three hours we've been home. He hasn't budged from his favorite sleeping spot under the bed. I hope we can plan another fun day in the city soon. Hopefully we can meet up with some more Yorkie friends!!!! |

| Sounds Great! Where are we meeting? At the Boat Basin? OR 87th Street? If anybody needs directions, feel free to contact me. The Boat Basin is very hidden with only a couple of very small signs pointing toward it. My best advise it to just walk down 79th as if you are going to walk of into the water. After you go under the bridge there is a staircase going down on the right side of the traffic circle. Follow that down the the cafe. If you want to sit outside along the water walk straight thru the cafe past the bar. There is a host stand out there. |
