I am going to try the Doctor I have an appointment with today but if I am not happy I will PM you and get the info on your vet. Thank you so much - that is very kind of you to help.

You are not crazy. It looks like seizures to me too and if my dogs were acting like that, I would tell the vet where do go if he told me I was overreacting. I'll say prayers for you and Murphy. Hugs, Ruth & Tony Reggie & Sophie

| Caren, First and formost...change Vet's right now! Of all of the stupid things to say to you! I went through that too. My Pepper had a neurological illness called Cerebellar Abiotrophy and at first the Vet told me too that it was all in my mind or I was blowing it out of proportion. I too had to video tape one of his, what I called dingy spells...he looked like he was drunk...then all I got was "it is something neurological" We lost Pepper on June 27 because it had progressed so far...I am NOT saying this is what Murphey has!!!!! It was a hard road we traveled with our beautiful boy but he lived 2 1/2 years LONGER than the vets said he would! I am praying for you and your Murphy and sending you love and support.

Furbutts = LOVE Donating Member Moderator | I'm steaming about your vet. How invalidating. It could be seizures as others have said - there are some very good medications for seizures these days. You will show the videos to the new vet, right? Do you feel that he's fully "conscious" as he's going through this? If he is conscious, then it may not be seizures. My heart goes out to you - how terrible for you to have to watch your baby go through this. And, my heart goes out to Murphy too. You're getting to the bottom of it, so have faith in what a great Mom you are. All the best, Ann

| Prayers for the seizure babies I have been reading through the posts and watching the videos. My Bailey had her first seizure today which lasted 30 minutes before she perked up. She pooped, was panting then breathing became shallow, body was stiff like paralized, moving mouth open and closed real wide, she seemed to be in a daze and eyes remained open, she was so calm (and she is normally very hyper). Just before getting to emergency vet she perked up, sat up and looked around, and has been fine eversince, calm and tired, but fine. I have been giving little feeds/treats every few hours for possible hypoglycemia. I will call our regular vet first thing in the morning, and keep an eye on her all night tonight. Thanks to you all for all the valuable information when you have nowhere to turn, you can find quick answers here. Bless you all and your Yorkie babies. xoxoxo Joan & Bailey |

I feel for you and Bailey, it's a scary thing...and makes you feel so helpless to sit by and watch...and wait for what seems like an eternity, to come out of it. Give her an extra kiss from me and Winston and please keep us updated.

| Bailey My Bailey is3 1/2 years old and weights around 5 pounds. She is my prescious baby. I haven't had any more episodes, i bought Nutri stat and have been making sure she eats something every few hours (in event it was hypoglycemia), I am calling the vet this morning for a check up. Nice to meet you. This site has become my new addiction...
