| 1) Mia's coat is a mess (2) feeding wet-dry or combination Hi All, as I look at the avatars and other pictures of your Yorkie's I become quite envious of your dogs coat. Mia will be 6 months old next week and to put it bluntly she is a mess, her hair just goes every which way. When we got her she was quite matted so as soon as she was old enough we took her to get shaved, that was about 6 - 8 weeks ago. Her hair feels pretty fine, will she outgrow this or this how she is going to be and is there anything I can do. Thanks (2) Quick question do you feed canned - dry or some of each, If it's some of each do you give stright canned in the morning or mix some dry in with it then just dry for the rest of the day. Thanks again |

| I feed dry only. I sometimes do a little canned food on top in the evening as a special treat, but usually only a teaspoon with a bit of water.

| when she eats her darn kibble, dry with water mixed in.. or nutri-cal paste as of now. I will be adding additives as well next time she eats it, but this is a newer thing. Don't worry about her coat. Apparently an adult coat will take up to 3 years. Chew's coat is a mess as well, and I keep it puppy short with her legs fluffy and a top knot capable. |

| I give The Honest Kitchen. Dehydrated human grade food for doggies. I keep my two in puppy cuts mostly b/c it's so much easier to maintain. |
