| How to keep Buttons warm? Buttons is a little over a year old so this is our first winter. She doesn't like to be under covers she likes to be in kind of a little nest. What do you suggest for outside? Her hair is long so it gets matted putting a coat or pajamas on her. I tried using a fabric softener sheet but she still was a mess in no time. Today was the first really cold day we have had and she spent lots of time in her crate which she doesn't normally do. She weighs 2.8 lbs and vet says she is in good condition just small. Thank you for any suggestions. |

| Hi, I don't have any suggestions, I keep my kids in short coats so there's not a problem with sweaters and jackets. But you may find you'll get more replies if you post this in the General forum instead of the Video forum. People mostly come here to look at video's that memebers post. I think you'll find more people will see your thread and reply in the General forum. Good luck. Oh, I also see that there is a thread about this in the Yorkie Grooming forum. May be that you'll find some advice there.

| Keeping Buttons warm Thank you so much for your suggestions. I didn't knowI posted on videos until after it was done. This was my first question and I flunked. I will look on grooming. I had Buttons trimmed short once and she looked like a little drowned mouse. Her coat is very fine, I hope it's her age and it will thicken as she matures. She grows length quickly but that is it. |
