I forgot to mention one thing jasmin does. She like to cover up her food bowl if she is not hungry with her blanket. Lol. They are so silly.

Oh definitely - he loves his dirt! But he started doing this at a few months old, before he had experienced real dirt (it was winter when we got him and nothing but snow on the frozen ground), and before he even spent much time outside.

Thats what I was thinking, never saw that before without dirt! LOL I mean my boys will dig on the couch and in blanket and nose the treat out of sight under a pillow or blanket, but never just on the floor like that, nosing dirt around! Thats really funny!!! Poor little guy probably wonders why his treat is always still showing! LOL

OMG!!! Deuce does that too!!! He covers his treasure with his imaginary dirt in his bed, a corner, or on the couch. I wonder how they know that?????

At first, I was worried she was going to scratch her nose off. LOL Does your Rocco guard it after "burying" it? She makes it so obvious by guarding it about 1-3 feet away. And if you look at her, she gets nervous and goes around the house looking for a new hiding spot. LOL

Haha YES! If he sees that you saw where he "buried" it, he gives you the stink eye, picks it up, looks for a new spot and starts all over burying it again. It sometimes can be a very long process till he finds a safe place for it.

Cutest thing!!!!!!! All of mine have done that exact same thing - like they are so sure they are digging up dirt with their muzzles and just burying their treasure inches below. And after all that work to bury his treasure, Tibbe will stand there and look at it and see that it's still not buried, grab it up and go try to bury it somewhere else all over again. Only when he gets it down behind the couch pillows or something is he happy for a while.
