| Daisy rings the bell (again) to go potty I posted a video of Daisy ringing the bell to go potty back when she was 14 weeks. Now she is almost a year old. Here is another video of her ringing the bell to go potty today! (Oh, her arm is recovering from a break, so as you can see, she is wearing a splint) Daisy rings the bell (again) - YouTube |

| Jumping off the sofa . But she is almost done healing. When she gets excited and starts running, you would never know one of her legs is in a cast. |

| that is so cute, Daisy is a doll. Lola rings a bell just like that to go potty, she also rings it just to go out so she can get a treat when she comes back in, LOL sometimes I wonder who has trained who in our house. That is so sad about her leg, it's so hard to keep these little ones from jumping, how long has it been in a splint, she sure does get around well with it.

| Thats great yours is healing in the cast!!. Mine did the same thing and the cast didnt work. We ended up with surgery. As my surgeon said "her jumping days are over!" I said "no kidding" as he handed me the bill... now if I could train jess to use the bell!! OMG! |

| That is just adorable!! What a sweet little girl you have. I tried the Poochy-Bells and mine wouldn't go near them at all. When I would rattle the bells, they ran from sight.

| Thanks everyone! I did not realize you all had left all these comments...but to answer how I got her to ring the bell to go potty...it was pretty easy actually. I started off just teaching her to ring the bell on command. I took her paw and hit the bell to let her know what I wanted and gave her a treat every time. She was so excited, like "All I need to do to get a treat is ring this bell?!!" So once once she knew she would get a treat for ringing the bell, I would open the door every time she rang it so she would associate ringing the bell with going outside. Then I started having her ring the bell every time we would go outside to go potty. So now she will ring the bell when she wants out or whenever I say "Let's go out" or "You wanna go out?" |
