81 inches of snow this winter!

Thanks, everybody I spoiled Jillie by plowing a racetrack in the front yard earlier this winter. When the other two went inside, she and I took a couple laps around the track. But I didn't clear the track this time and she was protesting her loss of "me" time!

How do you defrost Jillie from one of these outings? Deuce had all these little snowballs attached to him when he came in from the snow last year. I ended up having to get out the blow dryer.

Oh, Mike! We're supposed to have a little bit of snow tonight, but I don't want any!lol

I had to tell you that Kacee does the same thing to me! She loves to be outside playing so very much that she'll just stand there and want me to go back out She just doesn't want to go in!

I loved seeing Jillie bouncing in the snow!

Wow - insane!! Jackson is VERY jealous!! Although I have to say I am not complaining about our high 40's to low 60's winter weather we've been having. It's been pretty perfect - not too hot by any means but still not too cold, just perfect for us! But Jackson sure would love another blizzard. Jillie just looks freakin' adorable, I think her and Jackson would get along just fine!

Jillie reminds me of Chip the year we had all that crazy snow. He wouldn't come in the house at all and was trying to bury himself in the snow! Smokey wouldn't leave our porch - he hates the cold and wet. Chip would come inside long enough to defrost, then be pawing and whining at the door a few minutes later. All the dogs looked like they were having so much fun! I love the part where Jillie showed up Eddie and just went right on past him like it was nothing. Then of course he with her little stubbornness at the end... so cute!

Yep, Eddie has become my problem child for winter walks. Jillie has no hesitation -- and gets mad when I take Lucy by herself sometimes. Eddie hides under the bed! That explains why he had trouble getting up that berm. I literally had to carry him up today. The boy is out of shape!

LOL both of my boys hate the rain and right now it's pouring outside. First I tried to let Smokey out to potty and he just stood across the living room from me and looked at me like I was nuts as I'm standing there with the sliding glass door open. I asked Chip if he needed to go potty a little later and he started running upstairs as I was walking towards him so I couldn't pick him up and make him go outside.

We normally have had a lot of snow by now, but so far we've only had seven inches all winter! There is no snow on the ground right now, and the days have been in the 40's.....unheard of for this area!
