| Allergies??? I noticed that after a romp in the grass, my sweet buddy (Bad Leroy Brown) has been getting bumps on his belly, his eyes are oozie and he's constantly digging at his ears. Could it be allergies? Last year I took him to the vet for bumps on his back and the vet said it was probably allergies and to give him benedryl. So, a few times, I've given him a low dose and it does seem to help. The vet also said his ears are clear but that I need to keep the hair inside his ears pulled out (full time job!) to keep it from tickling him. I've started wiping his body down (alcohol/water solution) after he plays outside and it seems to reduce the bumps; also washing his face/eyes with warm water and soft cloth. I haven't changed his food or treats, so I'm thinking it must be environmental. Thought I'd run this past the Yorkie-masters..... has anyone had any experience with something like this??? Any suggestions?

| My granmother had a chihuahua that did the same thing. She would have little bumps on her skin after playing in the grass. She was allergic to the grass. She was taught to use a pad to potty on and did not get outside much at all. SHe was carried EVERYWHERE!!! But, she loved it.
