I would probably wait on the spaying too. Both of my yorkies had baby teeth pulled when they were being spayed or neutered and it was easy to do it all at once. We did it between 6 and 7 months.

Again, your baby is SOOO cute

I too got teary eyed. You are a very special person to not reach in and just take Princess out. I agree with the others that you should wait a little to spay, wait for her adult teeth. I had to put my baby under twice, once for neutering and once for teeth extractions. I was waiting for teeth but he started humping so I had to get him neutered. They extracted 4 teeth during that time, but nothing major, small teeth that probably would have fallen on their own. When he has double canine teeth at 8 months, I had to put him under again and extracted six teeth that time. He has beautiful teeth right now, even the double layered ones moved into their correct positions. I know this will ensure healthy teeth and gums in the future. Congrats!!!
