My Ex had a Conure and she used to fly off her perch in a rage and attack their Labradors. Once she latched onto the Maltese's leg and we had to pry her off! I think with my bird he has only ever really known me and I handreared him since he was 3 weeks old so he has no fear of animals. Sometimes the local monkeys come and steal his food when he's outside and he just sits and watches them not knowing that they would eat him given half the chance!

But he loves the dog and has learned that if she plays too rough it's just a little nip and she backs off!

weird thing was, in this video the dog was having her treat and eating chicken livers and the bird was stealing all the meaty pieces from her! CANNIBAL!!!!!

One of the most amazing Yorkie videos I've seen. You must be a great trainer and very patient (or lucky). I know that mine (either of them) would attack any little moving creature like that when the instinct kicks in. I especially liked the part at about 1:23 when the Yorkie is hogging the bowl, so the parrot lets him know its her turn.

I wish we had monkeys and parrots about.
