| sunnis small trachea we are taking sunni to michigan state hospital for an internal (expensive) exam. she still has her bloating belly and can't seem to lose any weight. the last visit gave her a good cardio exam. so we know her heart is ok. we'll just have to see what happens. i know they will want to try to fix her trachea, but i don't really want to put her thru that, shes 8. and i'm sure it would be very expensive. at least they can give me an idea for her diet. the vet recommened prescription dog food (science diet). she gave me a sample. i looked up the ingrediets and the very 1rst ingredient is corn!!!!!! thats a big no no in my book. i didn't even give it to her. so i'll keep ya posted on what happens at her appt. anyone out there have yorkies with collapsing trachs that did have surgery? robin and sunni |
