| I am not FAT just Fluffy Daisy had a birthday April 1. She is a april Fools Baby 2 years old. Daisy Mae's ideal weight should be 10 pounds. Her Mom and Dad are both larger then 7 pounds. I had to find a larger dog as she is the companion to a 70 lb. Pitbull Terrier. The vet put her on low fat and low calorie food. Her treats are stringbeans She gets 1/4 cup of food for breakfast and 1/4 for supper. She has lost 1 lb. in 6 mo.she now needs to lose 2 more pounds. It is quite important for her to lose this weight as when she was 3 months old she had a broken leg that needed orthopedic surgery, She had a plate and screws put into her leg, and then had it removed when the bones fused. Is there a way to lose weight faster or is it a slow proccess. She has her 3 daily walks and plays with Ozzy. she does have suffient exercise. Would appreciate any help. One problem is the Pit. Daisy is th alpha and will take food out of his mouth. |

Also if the pit is taking the food out of her mouth- i think they should be fed separately, that could get dangerous fast. Hey i see you are in Lakeland! We vacation every christmas in Davenport! Like a stone's throw away | |

| Daisy is the Alpha. She will take food or toys away from Ozzy. Oz is a service Dog and is always by Daisy's side. They are fed in seperate rooms as Daisy will take the food from the Oz. She is known as the piglet. I will try to cut her food . Thank you for the input. |
