I obviously misunderstood. I thought she was interested in what to feed her dog since she had not eaten and she could not go to the vet. I am aware of the recipe threads and possibly got a little carried away with what I feed MY dog, for that I apologize, but I do not apologize for attempting to clear up the you shouldn't be feeding her human food advice! My Roxy was very picky at first- went 2 days without eating and that is why I started to cook! And by the way I do give Roxie yogurt, cheese and probiotics. I may be new to posting on YT, but I have spent an average of 10 hours a week for the last year and a half researching how to take care of my baby- because I can not run to the vet everytime she scratches, poos loosely or whatever.

Yorkies can be very picky, but I want to warn you about your dog going on a hunger strike. My girl did that too me and I thought I would just wait it out a bit as I figured she would eat once she was hungry enough. I noticed she was getting thin, took her to the vet, she had addisons disease. I nearly lost her.
Please take your dog to the vet ASAP!

Where did it say you shouldn't feed human food? I said human food makes them fussier. It's really difficult to switch back and forth, because dogs prefer human food, and if you give them very much rotisserie chicken, they won't be interested in the dog food. Lots of people don't understand you don't give them the skin off of the chicken, and this can make a dog sick. Unless someone wants to really invest the time in research, it's probably best not to do it. I would be interested in reading your thoughts on a human food diet, and I hope you start a thread and discuss this, but please don't think we're against it.
