This is the funniest thing I have seen in a long time...when I saw the costume contest picture, I laughed so hard until I cried. Where in the world did you find this costume?? I want one for my puppy!!! I love it!

That is a great costume, but I gotta admit...it creeps the heck out of me! :eek: I'm terrified of spiders! I don't like anything with more than 4 legs lol :p

Girl, i am just cracking up here with that spider costume!! that is just precious!! I can't believe Joey didn't mind all those legs!! Very clever and the video really was darling!! Did you make that costume? It is so funny!!! LOVE IT!!! Thanks for sharing the video with us!!

Joey, u were a True Sport this year for Halloween!!:number1ri I Laughed so much....it was Hillarious!!:rofl28ib::rofl28ib::rofl28ib: U r the Cutest, most Adorable, & Creepiest Spider I've ever seen!! @first, you wanted to hide under things, just like a spider......then, the true Yorkie came out.....lol! I think you were feeling a little proud to show off to the other doggie.:p It was wonderful! Thx for sharing!!:D

Im terrified of spiders, but Joey makes me think twice! I love how he finally got his legs and started walking really fast! OMG if I lived on that street and saw that running down the sidewalk!! :eek:

That is too funny lol I had my friends hysterical. He kept on looking behind him like something was following him.Then he looked like oh well it's still there & kept on walking.

Oh that was the best video ever!!!! He was going around getting stuck on stuff. Bet he thought he had gained a bunch of weight. Poor little black puppy that you met. The doggie must have wondered why a spider smelled like a dog. He's in for a bout with a shrink.:D Wondered how long it would take Joey to decide it was leg lifting time. Sure made a gallant try at it.:D
Nancy, you'll have to keep the video handy so that when you have an off day you can pop it into the player and watch it. No one could stay down long watching this darling, funny video. Thanks. Joanne

DARN IT!!! :( I can't get the video to play!! :( The little circle just keeps spinning and spinning!! I have been waiting and waiting to see a video of him walking around in this...and I want to show it to hubby too, and my little nephew that is here! :( I am going to try again later!!! :D I can't WAIT to see this girl!! :laugh:

This is the best!!! I laughed until I cried when that other little dog backed away from him.
Then, the leg hiking finished it off....

It does look like we're torturing the little guy, but the spider part of the costume is actually pretty light. It's a Halloween prop sold at Walmart, and I just cut the wire legs shorter, but you might also be able to angle them more upwards. I just had it Velcroed on to a hoodie, but there are probably lots better ways to make it.

I wish I had your sewing skills, I have all these plans, but I'm limited to what I can do with a hot glue gun. If I had thought of it earlier, you could have made a little black bodysuit and I could have attached the spider to that. I think black and nude bodysuits would be great to add to your collection. :D

Lol, you are so right, he was so darn stubborn at first, he's worn the outfit several times, and I know he doesn't mind it, but we were taking the walk BEFORE dinner, and he was mad, we're suppose to go AFTER dinner, but I was afraid it might be dark. I was glad when he came out of his shell. :D

You mean what they said to our faces, or behind I'm our backs? I'm pretty sure some thought we were nuts, and others seem to get a real kick out of it.

The little Pom that Joey was playing with is a neighbor's dog, and I was surprised to see Harley, a little cautious; usually he isn't afraid of anything. We took a short break after they met up, and the two played in Harley's yard without the costume, and that video cracks me up, too. Harley only 8 months so he still loves to play and watching those two interact is so cute.
