Yeah, that is the funny part, between those two Harley is the usually the dominant one, so it was nice to see Joey playing the alpha.

That's happened to me before, and I found that if I double click on the video, it takes me to the actual U-tube site, and the videos will load better. This is kind of a long one, six minutes, I think. This was my first time doing a home video, I had such a hard time getting it saved to the proper file, and getting it to upload.

Lol, thanks so much, I know, it seems to look even more torturous on the video; I was kind of afraid to show it, I thought some people would think we were abusing the little guy.

It was so funny to see cars drive by, and slam on their breaks, we had a couple people get out of their cars and take pictures, and Joey was a good sport. If you love attention, the spider is a great costume that's for sure. :rolleyes:

What an angel Joey is to wear this costume. It's great. Maggie would have taken it off in a minute. I loved the hesitation in Joey's walk. It was like......you gotta be kidding. Loved it. TFS. Tina & :aimeeyork Maggie

Oh my gosh....first thing I watched today - LOVED IT, watched the whole thing. SO funny when he met the other dogs!! I bet people were just dying when they saw him in costume.

I noticed toward the end that he was still fully capable of dropping off his "P-mail" at the light post. Good boy ;).

I don't think this costume can ever be topped. :D

Absolutely priceless and my two best parts is when Joey met his doggie peep at the park and at the very end that little spider had to make his last "mark" and go home. I loved it and this costume will go down in YT history...we'll be talking about this costume every year now.

Man have you set the bar high going forward..I'm glad I don't sew..lol.;)

Nancy, Is he wearing socks and or shoes on his front feet with his hoodie sleeves? He did such a great job balancing and walking and....delivering the p-mail :)

OMG, my wife would DIE if she saw that. She's terrified of anything that even looks like a spider. Maybe Joey will win her over, though. He's too cute.

His little stocking were made of the feet cute from panty hose, I can't believe we wear the same size. They really mean one size fits all. I just fastened each leg together behind his neck.

Hey Nancy:

Thank you for the info on how to make the spider outfit!! I went to every Wal-Mart in town and they were all sold out of the spider's. Finally found them on Ebay. I've got two ordered. Found the hoodies at Wally World. Next year, my two fur babies will be ready for Halloween. :)

Did you have any trouble getting Joey to walk forward when you first put his costume on? He'd win hands down in a costume contest!!

Oh, I think two will be so cool, I put the spider out on the floor for a couple of days so that he could get use to it, at first he was very leery of it, but gradually he got use to it. It's very lightweight and if you bend the legs up far enough or cut excess off they won't drag the ground and this is what made him cautious at first. I put it on a little each day, and by the third day he was fine, but when took the video he wasn't really in a great mood, I just tempted him with a little food. As you can see in the video, he got use to it pretty fast, and can really run fast in it.
