LOL, my three-legged "wife" says thanks. Just kidding. I've been using a tripod. And don't worry about my head getting too big. I work with some people who make great videos for the newspaper, so I'm humbled every time I compare mine to theirs. But I'm slowly getting better, I think. YT is great practice.

What a cute video - and superbly done, I might add. You and Trila make a great team. Have you two thought of contacting National Geographic. How did you do it? Did you have to run ahead to set up the tripod in every shot then run back so you could be in the "candid" shot with the rest of the guys - then run ahead to do it all over again? Whew, just thinking about it makes me tired. Great job! And best wishes to Jack for a speedy and complete recovery.

Your gang just makes me laugh! They are all so dang cute! Because the camera NEVER shakes or jerks w/ any movement, I have often wondered about the making of these too - you do a great job with this!

Oh, sure, that all the mystery out of my videos. LOL. Yeah, that's pretty much exactly what I do. I try not to make it too staged. If I know I'm going to be walking up a hill, I go up there first and set up the camera, then just do what I would have normally done without the camera.

It's actually not much more walking. I set up the camera, then walk back 25 feet or so and walk through. I do that in four or five locations on a walk, and then put it all together on the computer. My dogs appear much more obedient after editing, btw. And you'd laugh if you heard the real audio of me screaming at Rusty to get in the picture and bribing Eddie and Jack with treats to get them to come.

Hehehe, whatever it takes to make it work, the end result is worth it. Your little guys are sooooo darn cute(not that THEY know it). It looks like they've got Dad trained pretty well.

I use the simplest booties I can find. Most of them are just fleece sacks with Velcro on the top, but I have some made of a waterproof material for when the snow is wet. I don't have a brand to give you, because it's hard to find good ones that fit Yorkies. The ones I have are made locally.

I've ordered some from Dog Booties before, and they specially made them for my boys smaller than their normal extra smalls.
