| That was beautiful. Very emotional to watch. Big congrats to you. She is beautiful. I'm mom to four rescues. My Lilly we got after losing our ten year old Yorkie to Cancer. Lilly was 13 weeks when we got her. She had very little hair (Vet felt due to bad flea infestation) was extremely skinny and shook all the time. She's now about 9 months old and her hair is beautiful. Well getting there and she weighs 4 lbs. I'm on my other computer or I'd post a snap for you to see. Rescue is such a good experience not only because you give a dog in need a home but it's really a win win situation. Best of luck to you. Elaine |

| The day Teensy came into Rescue was a beautiful day -- for Everyone! Despite her senior years and fragile health -- long ignored by an uncaring puppy miller -- I welcomed the chance to nurse this sweet, gentle and abused little girl as best as possible. On July 26, 2007, Teensy passed away from complications of mammary and brain cancer at age 16, just short of four months after her adoption. With intensive emergency vetting, Teensy's outer wounds had healed quickly. Unfortunately, her collapsed trachea, enlarged heart and mammary cancer did not improve. Nonetheless, Teensy experienced excellent quality of life at my home and enjoyed gentle playtime with my other Yorkies. Teensy's favorite activity was to go out in the yard and lay upside down in my lap and watch the birds flying overhead while getting a belly rub from me. After she would fall asleep in my lap, I would carry Teensy back inside (still asleep) and put her to bed. As Teensy's cancer continued to spread and her condition became more complicated, her quality of life finally diminished, and I had to let Teensy go to the Bridge. Teensy was beautiful, fun, curious, gentle and loving. I truly wish I could turn back time and have Teensy for years so she could lay in my lap upside down and watch the birds forever. Good night, little Teensy. I'll miss you and your sweet, gentle face always. Teensy's Forever Mommie, Tina XOXO
