It was a lot of fun, i don't think i've ever seen so many dogs of diff. breeds all together in one place lol I was carrying my girls in the actual fair cause there were so many ppl and big dogs that i was a little nervous having them down but afterwards we went to this big field where everyone just let their dog free to run around. There were a lot of free samples, microchipping, agility contest, etc. I also saw other Yorkies but idk if anyone from YT went, if you did maybe i ran into you:p Anyway here are the pics

There were these HUGE dogs there. I think they said they were Newfoundlands. In the pics they don't look so big but in person WOW! And i also saw these dogs that looked like huge Yorkies! They were gigantic but they had long hair and face like Yorkies and the owners had their hair up in bows, it was so cute!

K last set! When we were on the field Sophie got cold so i put her in my jacket. Oh I'm so happy to say I also met a dog groomer. She had a Yorkie that looked just like Sophie, with a cute haircut and i asked her where she got her groomed and she said she's a groomer. She was sooo nice, so i'm going to go check her place out. Oh and I also told her about YT!:D She never heard of it before. I think i told like 4 ppl about it:p

What an awesome time!!! I wish there were more "doggy events" in my area. It does look like it got a little cold.... everyone had there jackets on in the pics!!
Someday, I like to take a road trip and visit NY City. ( I have been to Saratoga Springs, but that is as close as I got).

wow great pic looks and sounds like you all had a very good time.did that big black dog have a mohawk it sure looked like it in the pic lol:D

It was great! It was a little cold and windy in the morning that's why i guess everyone took their jackets but by the evening it got warmer, the sun was beaming on the grass and it was hot! I was sitting on the grass and had to get up lol , then when the sun moved it got a little chilly again but it wasn't bad. That's NY lol never know how the weather will be. If you come do go to Central Park! There's tons of dog lovers there:)

Here in the Houston Texas area we had pet fest in Old Town Spring ... sounds a lot like your event . I also met other people owned by yorkies and there were lots of rescue dogs. Wish I could care for all of them . I saw the cutest 2 lb 2 year old yorkie , she did not even seem real. I told her mom about YT , she did not know of it either. Anyway if I knew how to down size pics I could put a few on here .

Wow, that looked like a lot of fun:) I love the pic of the girls checking out the baby in the stroller - or were they checking out the baby's toys - LOL!

Thanks it was fun! I'm not sure if the dog had a mohawk lol It does look like it in the pic! :p

Yea i think i get more excited to meet other dogs than my own dogs! LOL I stop random ppl to say hi to their dogs lol

I would love to see pics! I always hear of other events in diff. states and wish I could go. I don't know how to resize pics, what i do is i send the pics to myself and save them in saved mail and that seems to work. Maybe someone here can help you. :) It's amazing how many Yorkie owners out there don't know about YT! I found out about it from Google, they always are surprised when i tell them about it.

Me, too! That was my favorite:) They looked like they were just amazed by the baby.

They were checking out the baby lol (i think):p They were totally sniffing her out, it was so cute!

I'm sorry:( It was yesterday. I found out about it in the New York section, or else i would have missed it, i have a list of other events that ppl gave me in NY if you want to know:)

Thanks I am always interested in Yorkie etc events....and it's always fun to run into a YT buddy.
I also belong to a Yorkie Power group in the city...will fill you in if u r interested or haven't heard of it yet.

Ok i will let you know! I am part of the Yorkie Power playgroup too! Maybe i've seen you...did you go to the last meetup? I've been to like 15 i think. I am going to the halloween one this month, it's next week! I always have fun at those, mine are going dressed up :p A lot of ppl left cause of the new fees but i hope they will rejoin!

great pictures! Looks like you guys had fun. I totally forgot about this otherwise i would have taken the ferry in and gone too.

did you get any pictures of the giant yorkie looking dogs? i would love to know what they are.

Well I'm Sarah lol I had the 2 girls with me. I was with my bf, the one i went to was down there near canal st. i think, im in the group pics
