Yorkie Talk is like Heroin! Ok I am NOT a druggie at all ...LOL...:) I just can't seem to stop lurking here. I have a TON of things to do, wash and fold clothes, cook dinner, wash my daughter's hair, do homework, but Everytime I try to get up from this darn computer, I find another forum to lurk through. This must be what it's like to be on drugs. You want to quit, but you just can't give it up! ..oh well.. ;) |
i hear ya! :D |
I totally agree...once I get on, I have to really pull myself away from it in order to get what I need to done...but I love days where I have nothing to do and can play on yorkietalk all day!!! |
I was thinking more like Crack... :D Herion puts people to sleep -- this cranks you up |

Ha ha! This reminds me of Lexi is grounded from Greenies. One could even go so far as comparing Yorkie Talk to a Greenie. (No, not that it sits undissolved in our body. Please don't take me wrong!) Some of us may growl if anyone tries to take YT away!! LOL :yelrotflm |
1 Attachment(s) Chloe is an addict- see she has the 'high on yt look' |
Cute... I have to say Im as addicted to this as the rest of you.. When I finally do pull myself away I hear it calling me everytime I walk by the computer... "Come check out YT... Come check out Yorkie Talk...You might be missing something" By the way.. The voice is usually right.. LOL |
I agree!! What is it?? OK, admin, we're on to ya buddy. We know you are secretly sending some sort of voodoo waves thru the computer screen when we're on here. I was just wondering the other day...hmmmm...will I ever get my housework done...nahhhh. |

All I know is I just can't get through a day without YT! :D |
Oh don't I know it, hahaha! I can't believe I've already hit over 1,000 posts! It's crazy b/c I wasn't trying to at all...and I never write fluff posts....so YES I'M ADDICTED! It's so weird too....I'm familiar with ALL the post topics of the past few months. And even despite of that, I check for any new posts before I leave for work....and when I log on when I get to my office, I check for new posts again! I'm crazy! But I wouldn't have it any other way! Ok, another thing too......when I first joined, I was intrigued by all the great advice here and all the things I was learning about yorkies. Now, I still learn new things daily but something I never would have thought would happen here, has happened....I've made "friends"! I know who's who and get all excited when I see a post about Chanel or Cheri, or Bo, or Cap'n Hef and Princess Chai, and so on and so fourth. And I get all torn up when someone's yorkie is sick or not feeling well like when Oreo and Ginger got into the caffeine pills, Joey got stepped on and Pebbles got sick...or when a pregnant yorkie has complications and loses her babies. All this makes me just want to cry for them!! I tell Sully all about his "online friends" - all your yorkies! LOL!! |
I guess I'm an addict too. Even when I go take a nap, I still leave it on YT so I will have something to look forward to when I wake up! :D |

Ya know it is a little freaky. Cause I do all the things that you guys are saying too. If I get up at 2:00 with an allergy attach, I get on the computer to see the new posts and usually add a few of my own. There's always someone on here. Who wouldv'e thought that a dog forum could be so intriguing - OK, i know I spelled that wrong, where's Kristy when I need her?? Anyway, it's so weird how everyone's personality comes out and we go thru ups and downs with each other. Heavens, if we could market this we'd be rich!! I love you guys!!!! (Sorry that was cheesy!) LOL! |

I am NOT a morning person....so I wake myself up slowly by scrolling YT with my eyes half open, just as curious as ever! Often times, I'll find myself so into YT that when I look down, Sully has brought three or four toys and put them at my feet. PLAY WITH ME, MOM! So of course I must give in and leave YT for a while, lol!!! |
Valerie, Kimberley, Cynthia, and the rest of you guys~ I loved what you wrote. I am also really into everyone's dogs and their lives and struggles. I even bought the new Treo 650 cell phone so I can check YT when I am away. I went shopping with my daugter's today and when they were in a store for a long time I just played on my phone! Now, that's addicted!! :eyetearss |
:eyetearss too funny !!! Quote:

Kim, I admit I'm techno-challenged so this is probably a stupid question...but there is a cell phone that you can check YT on???? Where can I get one? How fun would that be? |

Heck, you can EVEN chat live with other YorkieTalkers on it... ;) And yes, I am that dang geeky, but I need my YorkieTalk crack! :p |
Lol!!!!!!!!!!! |
FastEddie, you really are insane!!! Do you realize that you have over 3000 posts?? Oh my, I'm not worthy... |
Same here, I even go around telling yorkie owners about this site. You would think I get a commission from this site! |
Well, I was going to stop at 3000 and retire there forever, but you made me post... TWICE now, since then! ;) |
Retire?? What?? You can't handle us anymore :p :p I wish I had a phone that could get YT. I used to check my email all the time on my phone and it ran up my bill so I can only imagine what YT would do to me! |
YT liquid crack for Yorkie owners This post makes me feel so much better! I'm a full-time accountant and this month was aweful for me. I spent so much time on YT at work that my financial statements were full of mistakes! I found the mistakes but my brain was out in YT left field :grin2:. I've realized I have a problem and I'm going to try to cut down on the hours spent during work hours. But NOTHING will keep me away from this forum permanently! :D |
