Today was the August Dallas area meetup and Lacy's first time to attend a YT meetup. It was so great meeting everyone there and putting a face with the names we see on YT. And what could be better than a bunch of adorable yorkies running around!! Here are there pictures I took today

I live in Ft Hood/Killeen area and I wish I could attend one but it's kind of far and with Tinkerbell pregnant now is nearly impossible:( Looks like you had a blast:p

Looks like a ton of fun! Is that Lacy in the pink? Can you identify any specific yorkies in the photos? It looks like a Yorkiefest!!! How cute. :D

I really wish we could have been there, Gizmo would have had a blast. Oh well, Maybe the next one. :)

Do you know of any dog parks in central Texas? Maybe in Temple?

I know we have quite a few YTers in the Waco, Temple, Killeen area. I would really like to try to plan something in the future. :thumbup:

Those are precious! Thank you so much for posting those! How adorable :D We had so much fun - we always do. You'll have to come to another one sometime - it was great meeting you and Lacy. I can't get over her hiking her leg LOL

I know I can't name them all, but I can give a shot at most of them, and others can fill in where I leave off ;)

In the first picture is Lacy (with CoCo in the background?) I'm not totally positive on that one.
2d picture - same dogs with (my) Pixie also in the background.
3d picture - I don't know the one on the left - it may be Dexter. The other is Bella in the vest - she has sure grown up! She was a very frisky baby at one of them.... We were amazed at how she's grown!
4th picture - the light colored one is Rocky, the other I believe is Dexter's "little brother", but I don't remember his name?

Next set, first picture: The one walking to you that you see only his rear, not his face is Rocky. The one in red is Bella. The other puppy is the same as the last picture but I don't remember is name. The one up top in pink is Lacy.
2d picture - I don't know. I can't see well enough to see which dogs those are.
3d picture - Pixie
4th picture - Lacy and Pixie.

I think I better stop there. Someone can correct what I've already said (what's that puppy's name?!), and take off on the last set. I'm not even going to try those :p

Oh Thank you so much for posting these. And yes that is CoCo in the first two. I don't know why she didn't want to play to much though lol.

Yes, Dexter's brother is Hiroki. (He's the one we decided was like a mini Bogey)

The one in the red vest is Bella. She's the one that was just a tiny thing last time & ran all over the place playing. SHe's sure grown up!

Was she the one that tried to run off? I heard that someone took off before I got there & wasn't sure which baby it was.

Yes CoCo some how got out of the first gate then squeezed between the other gate and ended up running towards the street. I think she knew she was in trouble after that. That is probally why she did not play too much.

It almost gave me a heart attack too!!! And I was wearing wedges so I couldn't run as fast to get her, and some nice lady ended up going after her and caught her for me. There was an angel looking out for her. :D

I missed all that drama. I always worry about Sadie getting out because she runs from me & I'd NEVER catch her. Glad you got her before she got to the street! It's also a good thing that the dog park is in the back of the park so that there's not as much traffic.

That would be awesome:thumbup: I dont know of any but I can try to find out, even Waco is not bad it's only like a 45 minute drive let me know if you deicide to get together there:thumbup:

If we ended up having a yorkie meet up in Waco we could probally get some Austin, Dallas, Fort Worth, and even Houston people there! I know the DFW people talked about having one out there to get a lot of those people together. I think it would be great and we could car pool if people wanted to.

Great! I will think about it some more. I haven't found any dog parks here in Waco, but I am open to suggestions. Could we meet at say Cameron Park and put several xpens together or something? Has anyone ever done that?

Your pics look great, I havent had a chance to download and look at mine yet. Geez it was so hot that day wasnt it? It was so nice to meet you and I hope you can come back to another meet up when it isnt so hot and maybe all our furbabies will actually want to be more playful. It was so hot they all were just laying around, but I definetly couldnt blame them! Your baby is such a cutie! I just loved how she bossed around those big dogs on the other side of the fence, too cute!

Yeah, Lacy thinks she's so big and tough. she loves to chase and bark at the big dogs.

yep..she wanted to be a tomboy when she was a puppy but I always made her dress like a Princess. She still reverts to being a "boy" occasionally

Sadie's a leg lifter too! Though she doesn't lift it as high as Lacy did...I've never seen a girl lift it that high. Too funny!

I haven't either! That was hilarious ;) Now Bogey likes to see just how high he can lift his, but Pixie... she only lifts if she's poopin ;)
