Meet Pipper, a co-worker's 2-year-old girl who I'll be walking daily for the next three weeks. The co-worker left town and hubby works all day, so I offered to take her on the afternoon walk with the boys.

She's a sweetie. The first day I went into her house to pick her up, she took off running. She'd only seen me at work. But after plying her with some treats, she's now my buddy. The second day I picked her up, she went crazy. This socialization is going to do her good.

Unfortunately, Eddie and Jack mostly ignore her. Eddie tried to play with her today, but she was afraid so he gave up. Probably just as well. If she played with Eddie more, I wouldn't want to give her up.

I discovered a great way to get pics of multiple dogs. Put them on a teetery hammock!

Don't go tempting me! Actually, if I knew for sure another dog would play nicely with Eddie, I'd get one. But Jack's a little too old for Eddie's style of play, and Pipper is a little too timid.

Besides, two dogs wear me out. I can't imagine 3!

OK, I'm loosing it. When I first looked at those pictures I thought that they were standing on a snow bank :p in AUGUST!!! On closer inspection I identified the "Official Alaska Summer Napping Station".

That's funny. I tried to lighten the faces in photoshop, and I ended up turning the hammock lighter than I wanted, so I don't blame you for thinking it was snow.

But, yeah, that's where I relax.

She is just too cute and she does look like she is fitting right in with your two boys. Are you sure you don't want another one to add to your family. I think the boys really need a sister to keep them in line.

You are going to have seperation anxiety when her mom get's home and you do not see Piper everyday.


Love the hammock pictures. Wish I had a hammock i would like to try it on my little one.

Yeah, she's a sweetheart. I'm amazed how much she looks like Eddie. Neither one of them have classic Yorkie coloring, but the two are very similar with all the black.

It's been so fun watching her warm up to us. The first day she ran away, now she attacks us.

Looks like we've got Pipper full-time now. Because of some medical issues with hubby, he can't watch her. So she's living with us until her Mom comes back in three weeks.

The boys still aren't quite sure where she fits into the house yet, but we're working on it. At least there's no aggression. Just lots of confused looks and three dogs looking for constant assurance that I love each of them best.

If the sun ever comes out, I'll see if I can get some more pictures of the three of them.

Uh-oh guys! He's going to have her for three weeks!!!

Who want to take bets that he ends up getting a girl when she goes back home...he's going to have withdrawals!!!! LOL...and so will Eddie and Jack. They might not know where she fits in now, but at the end of three weeks, they'll be the best of friends!!!
