Hey! Does my morkie look more like a yorkie or maltese?
 
Hi I have a 9 week old morkie and he is sooo precious to me. I got him a week ago and I wanted to know if you think he looks more like a yorkie or maltese?

He is a cutie and I am not really familiar with morkies but I dont think he looks like a maltese at all so maybe a yorkie?????

Congrats on your new puppy! Ok, I am not going to be much help to you because I can't say that I think that he looks just like either breed. See, I told you, I am no help. :rolleyes: One thing that I do know for sure...he's an absolute cutie and you are going to have lots of fun with him! :)

he does look more like a yorkie than a maltese if you would have to choose but that is just by face structure. But he could change as he gets older.

He's cute. He has a good mixture of both. Some pictures the yorkie shines through and other pictures the maltese.

I don't think he looks more like one that the other, he definitely is a mix between the two.:) Doesn't matter though, whatever he is, he is a little cutie!!! I had a morkie girl whose coat was velvety soft, just beautiful.:)

I think he looks like a very light colored yorkie, so more yorkie.

I didnt really think he looked like either also but wasnt sure and wanted to see what others thought for sure. There is one picture where his face looks like my cocker spaniel did when it was a puppy so I was going to say it looked like a cocker to me. Does anyone have a picture of a baby morkie we can see? I have never seen one to compare it to.

he looks like a morkie to me you can really see both breeds he doesnt take more out of either he's perfectly mixed lol he's so cute

He looks like my Soleil!!! She is 10 weeks old and they resemble each other ALOT!!!

Here are a couple before I shaved her ears when they were floppy and after I shaved them and now they are standing...

Id say he looks yorkie to me!!

OMG ur soo right. He definitely looks like Soleil. Thats amazing! Thank you guys for your opinions. I actually thought he looked more maltese but I wanted to see what other people thought. Thanks again :)

He's looks like a sweetie. He seems to have the maltese ears and a nice thick coat.

he is adorable! he definately looks more yorkie than maltese. I have a maltese/yorkie mix too, but he is colored like a yorkie, but he looks like a maltese - kind of the opposite of yours! Good luck with your new baby!!

I don't know if he looks like a maltese, but he does look like a lighted colored yorkie. He is a cutie!!!!
