I also consider Brutus to be my baby. I have 2 two legged kids and I tell them that he's their brother! :) I have to say though that besides getting picked up and being kissed all the time I'm trying not to spoil him too much. I figure my 4 and 6 year old weren't too spoiled and they're well behaved so maybe if I raise Brutus the same way he won't grow up to be a spoiled brat! |
This is so CUTE - Mine are my girls...not my dogs...my girls..... and they are sisters to my BOYS - my human boys....Cousins to my sons Weiner BOYS ....lol....yes - they ARE my next generation children since my sons are grown up. |
Maxi is definitely my baby girl... like an extension of me in other words  :jump28ib: :yorkietal |
Oh I definitly consider Panzer to be a baby to me, but it's hard for me since I'm a dog behavorist and I know what treating a a dog like a human can do. It kind of sucks having to be a good role model, and sometimes I wish I could go back to the times when I didnt know that loving a dog too much could hurt them. |
Yes, my mine are just like our 2 legged kids. I just love them all to death!!!!! |
Yes, my furbabies are my children, and they are spoiled, spoiled, spoiled! :p |
Keno is my baby! He understands everything we say, he goes with us most everywhere. He pouts on Monday mornings when we have to go back to work, and acts happy Friday afternoons when we get home. He knows his mom-mom peggy too! :p |
Muffin was our baby. When she passed, I said I felt like I'd lost a child. She was such an integral part of our lives. She was included in nearly everything we did. I could look at her and tell you what she wanted and she could look at us and knew what we were going to do before we did it. I still cry over her nearly every day. She was so very special. Now that we have little Kacee, the protective parent has already reared it's head! :p |
I was kissing Tucker and saying he's my baby boy and my 14 year old son asked "so, what am I, chopped liver?" I told him he was my BIG BOY! Tucker is definately one of my children! |
Magic and Sailor ARE my girls...there is no question about it...they gets toys all the time, they get treats just because, they sleep with us in bed, they are allowed to do just about whatever they want, as long as it safe!!! We take them everywhere that is allowed, esp. on vacations....my parents are their "grandparents" and treat them just as good if not better (since they have more money to spend on them)....I can not imagine what my life would be like without them now...I am sure my boyfriend gets jealous because I hate to leave them alone and so I have a hard time leaving the house, I would much rather stay at home with my wonderful girls!!!! How can you not love them that much??? |

My husband actually has a 7 year old brother(dont ask) and when we first bought our min pin, Pongo, my little brother-in-law was 4 and we told him that Pongo was his brother. He went around telling everyone at church that he had new baby brother. Everyone at churchs new that that wasnt possible. But he really considered himself a big brother to our little furbabies. It was cute. Now he is too old and too smart  for any of that. |
Stomper is my baby boy...that is why I call him Stomper Boy! I love him like he was my own flesh and blood. He is my baby, no doubt about it. I even give him "time outs" when he is bad. He also knows me by "mommy" and my husband as "daddy". When my husband says "Go see mommy", he will come to me! I know...we are crazy. I wonder how we will be once we have children?!!!! We already spoil him like crazy!!! :) |
For sure! Oh for sure... I have 3 children and yes, my Yorkies are treated like my kids.. My children even get jelous of them... LOL Joy :p |
Absolutely!! Lily is my baby and my oldest daughter says Lily is her sister. All my dogs have always been my babies and are spoiled as much and my kids. I would never admit this to hubby, but I always stick up for Lily and tell the kids they know better for whatever has happened. |
Great thread, My four furbabies are my children, don't know what my life would be without them, words can't describe how much I love them. |
