| Shaved Have you ever wondered what a Yorkie looks like all shaved? Honestly like a Chihuahua. Yup it is kinda funny and kinda sad all rolled into one! Especially when the hubby sees her and goes, "Wait, is that our Eury??? It's not the wrong dog is it???" So I'm sure you are probably wondering WHY she's been shaved. A couple of reasons actually. Seems my baby girl developed some dry skin and has some ear mites that moved to her body to avoid the meds in the ears. So she was itching and scratching. Not to mention it's been horribly hot and humid here which was just irritating the situation. So after talking to the vet we decided the best course of action for her (requires less meds) was to shave her, apply a skin conditioner, and give her a bit of meds for a couple of days. When we picked her up she totally glared at us LOL which made us have to fight the snickers even more. My hubby gave up and laughed when we got to the car and Eury nipped him. LOL The look on his face was PRICELESS! Here is the before and after... thank goodness her fur grows quickly!

| Sorry to hear about the mites....but the hair-cut adds some comic relief into the mix. She is still a gorgeous pup!

| THANK YOU!!! The hair cut and meds will knock out the problem. In the meantime she can actually fit the clothes she'd recently grown out of LOL.

| she looks great! i had edgar shaved once, too. he was so big he resembled a jack russell terrier. but you can SEE the terrier in them when there isn't so much hair. i prefer his body short and his head lion-esque. |

| Yeah you can, especially when she runs around the house. I prefer the puppy cut as well, it's so much easier to manage. And that hair has some weight to it! Before the cut, we weighed her and she weighed exactly 2lbs. After she weighed 1.8 lbs.

| LOLOLOL.....After looking your baby's before and after pics, I looked at my girls and couldn't stop laughing, because I was imagining them completely shaved... Your baby STILL looks so CUTE though... and hopefully she will clear up this skin problem real fast... Kisses and hugs from Maggie & Hannah... |

| I think she's more confused than anything else. She periodically licks different parts of herself as if to say, "What the heck? Where's my fur?" LOL I'm sure when we go walking though she's gonna love how much cooler she is. LOL She is really soft, like crushed velvet and she smells REALLY good from the skin conditioner. Of course we had to take pics for the scrapbook... this is definitely a page or two. LOL

| I prefer the long coats of the Yorkies, but I have to admit, if I was to have to give a short haircut, I would do it like your Eury. He's adorable!!

| I'm sorry I can't help it! I always laugh when we bathe Daisy becuase she looks like a mouse. hehe. Your baby's look is definately priceless. He looks pissed. He's still very cute though! When it's a medical condition, it's not funny. I'm sorry again that I find this a bit humorous. I hope he feels better soon!
