Hey everyone! I just bought a male companion for my Mia yesterday. He is 8 months and weighs 2.5 lbs.

What do you think of him (be honest!)?

Do you think he will be TOO SMALL to breed later? (He has both testicles and loves humping Mia already.)

Also, I am looking for a name. They named him Junior, but I don't like it.

Any help would be great! Thanks! :animal36

(PS- He looks scruffy/raggedy because he hasn't had his first haircut yet. While I am typing this, he is actually at the groomer! I am fixing to pick him up, so, we will see how that turns out!)

He's too cute. From a posting I just read by Mardelin it says that a males size is irrelevant. So he should be good to go if all else checks out.

oh he is a darling . . . . am no breeder so cannot help you with your questions. Perhaps if you create a new posting under breeder talk you might get better responses.

He is a super cutie.I think that since he is so tiny he should have a big name.Like Shakespere or Leonardo or Napolian.

He is just ADORABLE!!!!! And I don't think the size matter's in a male doggy. You should be fine as long as everything is in tact.:) :)

He is not to small but sometimes a small Yorkie is that small due to liver shunt and it isn't detected until after they are over 1 year old.

I would have him tested before breeding him just to be safe. He is adorable and looks like a Diesel to me.

OMG he is so freaking cute....I just love him. You know I have a little girl named Mia too and my little boy is named Murphy - you could always name him Murphy - ha, ha!! :p :p

I actually do love the name Oliver though - too adorable. I can not wait to see him after the groomers ~ please post pictures of his new hair cut!!!

Thanks for all of your sweet comments! He is absolutely adorable to me! I thought that he weighed 2.5 lbs (that's what the lady said), but when I took him to the vet he weighed 1.3. I am trying to fatten him up (healthily). I will send new and updated pics later! If you have any ideas, let me know!
