Yorkie pix! Thankfully, these are in the park and not in my yard. And I tossed in the last shot of Eddie to give him equal time with Jack.

Thanks everyone! First is my fave too. Yes, these were taken with the Canon and the 70-300 zoom. I saw the patch of flowers, uh, weeds, put Eddie in a stay and called him to me. Jack doesn't have a good stay, so I dropped a bunch of treats in the grass and ran to the other side. LOL. It worked.

Those are great action photos! Tucker is too quick for my camera to capture...usually I end up with just a background or his tail! :)

LOL - sounds exactly like me! Maybe alaskayorkie will give us photography lessons:) I too love that first pic - looks like he's flying over the flowers!

Those are absolutely great pics. The first one is actually one of my favorite yorkie pics I've seen...for real! Very cute :D:D:D

Great pictures. You really captured them in action. I can't help thinking of my childhood days when people didn't kill dandelion's and they were in abundance. Do kids still rub the flower on the underside of the chin to see it the yellow comes off and if it does it means your going to be kissed or some such thing. Anyone remember that? Maybe I'm telling my age here.:rolleyes:

I love all your pics, they are just perfect everytime. I am in the market for a new camera, mine is a dud, which model do you use, and is the zoom something I have to buy extra. As you can tell, I know nada about cameras.......:rolleyes:

LOL. I don't remember that. Maybe that's why I didn't get kissed until junior year of high school!

I have the original Canon Digital Rebel, 6.3 megapixels. It's since been upgraded a couple times, and there's a 10 megapixel version at Costco for $799. The 70-300mm telephoto that I use almost exclusively for Yorkie pix cost another couple hundred dollars.

I usually try to discourage people from the Rebel unless they consider themselves to be a serious amateur or better. First of all, it's been and clunky, not something you can slip in a purse. And has a lot of cool features that are wasted if you don't understand how aperature and shutter speed work together, etc.

I haven't kept up with the best cameras for people who aren't seriously into photography. Things I'd look for, though, are a megapixel rating of 5 or better, an optical zoom of 6 or better and a viewfinder other than the LCD screen.

You know what? I have a request.... can we see a picture of you running through the dandelion like the boys?

your dogs are so cute. The colors of the dandelions only enhance the picture, not the dogs.

I just remembered how the saying goes now. If you rub a dandelion under your chin and the yellow comes off on you then it means you told a lie. :D Crazy the things people and kids use to do. The lazy days of summer........I miss them.
