Usually when i drive Layla is next to me in her crate, but tonight we were driving the Audi with the top down (grandma was in the next seat) so she got to have the wind in her hair!! And on the way home she sat with Grandpa in his truck.. she LOVES sitting on his shoulders... if we are on a long trip she will even nap up there!!!

Ah man...that really brought back memories...When I was much younger, still at home with my parents, they are both gone now...My Mitzy would lay across my dads shoulders just like Layla's doing with your dad while he drove. Gosh that was like 30+ years ago, I know my age is showing!!! Adorable pictures though...loved 'em!!!

Toooooo cute!

When I drive with Chewy (she's the one I take with me all the time and Sierra stays home with her daddy (my hubby!) , she sits on my lap, looks right over the steering wheel and has both paws on the wheel. She is definitely driving......sometimes she looks around at me adoringly, and I have to tell her to turn around and keep her eyes on the road! lol......it is so cute! When people pass me head on, they do a double take. lol

I know it is dangerous to have her on my lap, but she's 8 yrs old and I've been doing it since she was 8 weeks old. I just can't confine her in the car.

lol she was born with it! she always has to be sitting a little bit higher than she should... at home... we call it her "Princess Pillow" because she wont' just sleep on the ground or the couch.. she has to be high on a pillow
