Mystery Yorkie.... 4 Attachment(s) Hello, So Mickey is 16 weeks old.... and he's got to be 7 lbs already! A lot of people, other yorkie people are telling me he doesnt look like a pure yorkie... and I agree, he's a little funny looking LOL Maybe just an awkward stage... Of course I still love him to death, and wouldnt trade him for the world! BUT just curious.... what do you think?! PS- I was told by the breeder he is 100% yorkie... but even my vet asked what he was..... lol |
Are these pictures recent? If so, he looks 100% Yorkie to me. I do not see anything but Yorkie. He is GORGEOUS, by the way!!!!! :) Do his ears "flop" because he has a lot of fur on them? My Harley is purbred but has thick fur on his ears causing them to "flop". We left Harley's this way, but you can shave your puppy's ear to make them more erect. Tammy |
that's a Yorkie no doubt. He likely will end up being a big boy but that happens too. |

I just love those pics and hope you'll be posting more!:) I have two "larger" yorkies, :aimeeyork :aimeeyork and I will warn you...get used to people telling you he isn't a yorkie...don't do what I did and let it drive you nuts!:rolleyes: LOL, it no longer bothers me, but it used to make me crazy...:D |

That baby is a purebred.. and I for one think he is adorable! People always told me Bell wasn't a yorkie too. He use to make me mad. But I know she is all yorkie, just has longer legs. Originally yorkies were bigger dogs (up to 15 lbs, I think) and were bred down to their current standard size. |
He is ADORABLE!! whether he is 100% or not! I think because he is a little "hefty" people automatically assume that he is not purebred...he looks pure to me.... |

Well he looks like a Yorkie to me. Either way, he's a sweetheart. Hmmm I wonder what the largest Yorkie would normally weigh. Perhaps he's just a larger Yorkie. Keep us posted. |

I can tell you that you have the MOST adorable PORKIE YORKIE....LOL:D:D My Dad's baby Toffee was an 8 pounder..... like the most lovable, beautiful teddy bear, just like your little...err.... porkie guy! |
He looks all yorkie to me.. I think ppl think it might be mixed is cuz his coloring is a lil different than the "standard" on his face... but what yorkie actually meets it anyway :rolleyes: ? hes really cute and you should ignore what everyone else says! :) |

Aw.... he is pure yorkie I'm sure! Just a teapot version! LOL I have a teapot maltese! He was suppose to be 4 lbs full grown.... but he's 12 lbs now! i still love the rug muffin! |

He is a sweetie My Mim's looked just like your boy, 100% just a baby :p give it a chance; I thought the same thing until I took her to get her first big girl cut and then her ears came around and I just love her either way. and she is 7 mos 7 lbs. and 13 inches long and I thought she was mixed as well but the Vet said no.
