I am still laughing. |
YUUUUKKKKK.... DEFINATELY sounds miserable to me. I HATE HATE HATE snow!! As far as I am concerned we got too much snow here in Oklahoma this year. Glad spring is here. Be careful in the "quick snow" until it is gone. :D |
:cup: :ip: :roses: :wrose: :daisy: :island2: :martini: :beermug: :coffee44: Comfort to Mike & :aimeeyork Hugs to Eddie and Jack |
I sympathize. But I've always admired how you get outdoors with Eddie and Jack in spite of the weather. I admit, I'd probably turn into a hermit during the winter and spring months if I lived in Alaska. Also, I'll confess I was laughing by the end of your story, but I still sympathize through the tears of laughter. . . really, lol. . . :lol tears :lol tears :lol tears |
First of all just having to put on snowshoes would have been enough for me to stay in. My hat is off to you - when we get about 12" of snow in IL I have every excuse not to go out the front door. You write with such visual effect - I could actually see you hauling a bag full of poop, childrens boots running over with water and snow and dogs soaked and miserable. |
I don't blame you at all ... I hate spring too! spring thaw is worse sometimes than winter itself. this is one of the reasons that I moved south. by the way.......... have you ever thought about writing a book about your adventures? |
PS How long did it take for the boys to become used to their boots because they are so agile in the snow? |

And SophieRose, it took about two weeks of daily use for them to tolerate them. Once they stopped fighting me, they forgot they had them on. |

Eddie proves once again what Evil Wee's known all along that He's one smart dog! I love it when they look at you like you're crazy cos you haven't figured out what they already know. I'm pretty sure that kiddie flinging is a sport in the highland games - maybe you could get into competitive kiddie tossing - an excellent way to wile away the hours. |
I know it wasn't funny at the time, but after dealing with auditors all day yesterday and looking forward:cool: to it again today, I cracked up. All I could think of was how smart Eddie was! Those kids now have an official adventure to talk about! Thank God the moose didn't put in an appearance:) |
I am never complaining about mud season again. |
omg poor jack stuck in a slush puddle. i could just see it too because that would be morgan. sloshing around not being able to get out. I love that eddie was just like 'whatever guys im going home'. i agree with your neighbor, why didn't you drop the bag of poop? LOL :D |
Sorry, but that was so funny. I give you kuddos for not dropping the kid as I would probabluy have done!!!! That would definatley been a You Tube clip of the week if caught on film!!! |
