I hope your Nana has a wonderful birthday! The calendar is gorgeous and I know she'll love it. It's wonderful that you are with her during this time in her life. I'm sure it means the world to her.

Thank you! She has her good days and bad days but lately her outlook on things seems to have changed. I don't see the hope in her that I used to and I think partially it's just from her feeling so bad and being in bed so often :( I'm hoping maybe by bringing a little of something she loved back to her it might cheer her up. Here's a picture of her I have in my scrapbook from two years ago and one with a frame I made for her of when she was 17 years old.

That is the most wonderful gift for your Nana. You are embracing the moments that will be with you forever. You are a strong woman but imagine "the apple doesn't fall too far from the tree".

Joy...I am in awe over your beautiful calendar you have created for your Nana! She is going to be so touched and overwhelmed with it! You make her days happy, despite her illness. She is so blessed to have you and you are also blessed with a beautiful Grandma! I think of you, your Mom and Nana each day and remember you in my prayers. That calendar is spectacular!!! Way to go!

What a wonderful caring granddaughter you are Joy.
Your Nanna will be so touched by your beautiful gift to her.
It has brought tears to my eyes looking at those beautiful flowers
with those precious Yorkies on them.
Just the thought that you took the time to create something
so special for her will make her feel wonderful.
She was a very pretty woman. I hope your gift makes her
feel so very special like the special person she is.

I am hoping I will be able to get her up to SC so everyone will be able to be there with her for this special day. My siblings are up there and I know how much it would to her to be with everyone again...
