A "Sully" Day at the Beach!

My husband and I had friends in town this weekend and the four of us had an amazing time touring around Charleston!!! :D On Friday afternoon, we went to the beach. The weather was beauuuuutiful. I wore a tank top (and got sunburned on my back and shoulders, oops!)

We all had a great time, but I think Sully had more fun than all of us put together!!! Here are 12 pictures of him from Breach Inlet last Friday:

1) It's pretty windy out, Mom!

2) I hear seagulls.....do you hear seagulls?

3) Smiling Sully...the HAPPIEST little beach yorkie!

4) Splish, Splash, it's Spring! The water sure is warming up!

He is a water dog isn't he! Great pics looks like he had a blast.

Sully loves the beach but hates taking baths. :confused: So, I never know the days he'll enjoy being in the water or not at all. LOL. I think he likes Breach Inlet because the water is only a few inches deep (it's the shallow part in between islands, and we always go at low-tide so we can walk waaaay out.)

I had my Canon 20D camera, Image Stabilized 28-135mm lens, and speedlite 550ex flash with me, so I was able to catch some really great ones! I still can't pick my favorite, though. Maybe number 2 or 3, or 9.

Thank you! I'm so excited to order some prints of these for Sully's scrapbook. (LOL, I'm a silly mommy doing a scrapbook for my dog!)

They're all great! Looks like he had a blast!

My favorite is #15.....it's gorgeous.

OMG Sully has such an adventurous life! I love him! My favorite picture is #2 cause his hair is all in his face and he's got this confused look on his face..loool..That's so great that he loves water so much. Coco stands there shaking and crying when we take her to the beach..lool :rolleyes:

Wow! Those are incredible! And I don't think I've ever seen a wet dog look so happy. What a great day at the beach.

Trust me, he doesn't look happy at ALL when he's in the bathtub. It's so weird how much he hates baths sometimes! He loves the beach b/c there are a million different things to sniff, investigate and chase. :p

AFTER his bath (to wash of sand and salt water)

AFTER drying off (furiuosly rolling around the house)

Talk about one pooped puppy! Sully crashed on our new couch and pretty much stayed there all night. I think he thought he was camouflaged! LOL

Sully has the look of contenment on his face. That's a great shot

Hey, don't knock the dog scrapbooking 'cause I did it too. I made the cutest book of my Westie. I plan on making one of my Pixie soon. I think they're neat. :thumbup:

Wow, this week we've had new pictures of Jack & Eddie in the snow and Sully in the sun and sand. Thanks, Love them all.

Very cool! You guys encourage me!!! :-) You have a westie? My best friend's grandparents have one, her parents have two, and she has one. Often they're all 4 in the same house! LOL. She made her westie, Zipper, a myspace page: http://profile.myspace.com/index.cfm...ndid=133610622

Yes! Sully would love to take Scuba lessons......then he can chase the fish too!

I think I missed the recent thread with Jack and Eddie in the snow! I'll go look now!! :thumbup: I think Sully could be best friends with those boys if they ever were to meet. :animal-pa
