Bebhinn-Kii has arrived!!! pixpixpix!
 

she has arrived and she is soo tiny! And soo fiesty with me and my brother, already! She is already growling and i heard her bark, twice! its the cutest thing, she sounds and looks like a little wind-up toy. I am so very fortunate to have her. Thank you to everyone on here who has helped me learn all i need to know about yorkies! Now i know i will be the best parent to her :D
And she already went potty on the paper...twice! and i congratulated her each time, and her little nubby tail wiggled when i did:) im so happy shes home, thanks again to everyone whos helped me learn a thing or two about a thing or two :jump28ib:

heres more pics....and also, my father told me that she is actually 6 1/2 weeks old, not 8! I cant wait to watch her grow up and care for her, and im basically like her mommy now, oooo she will have the nicest, well diciplined, happiest life here with me, her mommy! he he i love saying that..thanks so much guys for the comments :D

6-1/2 weeks is a little young but you have so much support here and you did your home work. She's perfect for YOU!

she is so precious. Enjoy every minute of her growing up cause they do grow up so fast you dont realize it until you look at her baby pics then her pics just a few months late. They change so much.

:) she's already sucha lil handful. hence, why im even awake right now. And i wanted her to sleep in her little area of my room last night, but gaahh...she slept with me. didnt go potty in my bed, just laid right next to me. but was sure to get me up at 6am, i took her to her little area, and right when i did..she went potty! maybe not on the paper but very very close. itll take time for her to get it right every time, i know this. but im still very proud of her and how shes been so far.

HER NAME! Bebhinn[pronounced Be-vin] was actually a [irish mythology] goddess of the underworld and daughter of its ruler. also known as the goddess of pleasure. she was a breathtakingly beautiful giantess with long golden hair, who was very strong, independent, and sure of herself..a lot of woman idolizing her still, today. in gaelic bebhinn also means melodious, musically sweet woman..[ive known about the name for some time, but the meaning? i wikipedia'd it to see just what it ment.]but i actually went after the first definition when naming her. :wink: As for the other part of her name, Kii, it is just a common japanese middle name that im very fond of. and i figured, since my full first name is Cory-Amber, I'd put a dash in my pups name and make her full first name Bebhinn-Kii. *shrug* i think it sounds really cute

Congratulations. She's a cutie, but boy, too young to be away from the mom. A reputable breeder wont let them go before they are at least 12 weeks. I hope you wont end up with problems with her.

well she is a reputable breeder, and 12 weeks? ive read and heard of many breeders selling as young as 6 weeks! but thanks for the concern:cool: she is doing terrific, and she goes potty on the paper almost every time! i am very proud of her, she is very mature for her age, thank you very much!:p

I was totally thinking this too! But I felt too bad to say anything cuz the new mommy is so excited! The baby is very young tho.

this lil girl loves going potty on the paper, shes such a smart girl! i congratulate her each time so she knows she has done right. shes a fiesty lil firecracker! she'll see my shadow or hear me coming near and she'll begin to hop around and growl or bark BEEP BEEP BEEP. her barks as big as her, its so cute :D and she wakes me up in the morning by licking my face and play attacking me until i take her to her little area, and right when i do..she goes straight to her pp pad and goes potty! such a good girl, and so mature for her age. i am very proud of her, i can tell shes going to be a very loyal, obedient lady when she gets older. ill take more pics of her in a week or so thanks for the kind words!

6 1/2 weeks is very young, most other breeds will let pups go around 6-7 weeks old but because yorkies are so much smaller most reputable yorkie breeders won't let their pups go until they are around 10-12 weeks. My little girl was almost 10 weeks old when I got her. They learn a lot from their mothers in that short period of time and the breeder is repsonible for getting their shots and vacinations, things like that.

I do know of people who have gotten their yorkies that young and do fine, just be careful and watch out for her and make sure she gets enough to eat, you don't want her going into a hpyglycemic attack. You sound like you are a great mommy and are really concerned for what is best for her so I am sure she will be fine! :)

Were you able to see her parents when you got her? I bet they were beautiful considering how cute she is!! :) :)

actually yes, i did see her parents. they were beautiful. her mother was a show dog and her father was a feisty lil punk[just like her]..i know much about hypoglycemia and i am watching that carefully, considering how small she is. the breeder told me herself specifically to give her 3-4 drops of honey a day, along with a drop of nutri-cal, since she is so small. i respect the breeder a lot. she is a kind lady who puts a lot of love and care into raising the pups. bebhinn likes to do a certain thing, [note, i wear pretty much nothing but hoodies] she crawls inside of my hoodie and she goes inside of my hood to the back of my neck and she sleeps there, in my hood..on the back of my neck. shes actually doing it right now. i know its mighty warm back there and i have long hair, so she goes right under there and snuggles up. shes sucha good girl!

Aw, mine has champion show parents as well, aren't their coats gorgeous? :eek: Did she tell you what bloodlines they have? I recently did a search for my babies to make baby books for them of their relatives and it's alot of fun looking up all the different names and seeing all of their family. I am glad the breeder explained about the nutrical and honey to you, sounds like little Bebhinn-Kii has a wonderful mommy who knows what she's doing! :) That is so cute that she crawls up on your neck to sleep! She just wants to be close to mommy :wub:
