I've been using it for two weeks, there haven't been mats going on even I can't promise brushing everyday, the hair truely feels like silk, comb just glides through, wonderful feeling. Attachment 94041 Attachment 94042 Attachment 94043 Attachment 94044 |

1 Attachment(s) She looks beautiful. I know how you feel because I was a little nervousa also. The results are amazing not to mention the cost being so minimal compared to the more expensive brands. |
VERY pretty pics! |
1 Attachment(s) I brought the wrong pic up. I think the results are amazing. Were letting coat come in for the first time so we're just beginning. |
What a beautiful girl! Her coat is fabulous.:) |
archie, your baby looks wonderful as well. Patene truly makes a difference. I tried a number of products, like all system, pet silk, christensen, etc. while they are all pretty good, there hasn't been one that's like patene, it made me wow big time! |
She looks gorgeous. I use Pantene a lot too and it does work great. :) |
I use pantene on myself. I was/am a little hesitant of using it with the boys only because all I used to hear is how they have a different ph with their skin and how it may be bad for them. Thanks for the reassurance. this will surely save some doe. |
I have been using the Pantene Ice shine and it does wonders for Peeka after his bath he is soooooo soft i love this stuff and he hasn't had any probs with iching or anything. |
Good idea, I will give it a try. I like using the 3 minute miracle too but it is so fragrant and I am severly allergic to perfumie smells so I cant use it too often. I dont think Pantene is quite as fragrant so will give it a shot. I use the coat Handler shampoo and conditioner and it is $$$$$$$. Would love for something cheaper to work well. |
Your yorkies is so beautiful...... Beautiful shiny healthy coat:D |
It wont take long before her skin and coat are so dry that her coat will be dull and her skin will flake. Human shampoo is not good for dogs at all. Try Dr. Bronners Liquid Castile Soap. It's so gentle you could use it every day and can be used on newborn babies and your own skin and hair. You can give hot oil treatments or a dog cream rinse like #1 All Systems. |
Awww....she is soooo gorgeous! |
2 Attachment(s) I've used Pantene for years (conditioner only) and I love what it does for the coat. |
Which pantene products are these? (SRD: I know that fabric!! We were looking at sofa swatches at Lazy Boy, and that is the fabric we chose for the sofa pillows.) |
Wow! Everyone's babies look so good. I have never tried Pantene on Mojo - what do you all use and how much, how often...etc. Please share! |
I've used Pantene products on Ruby almost from day one, and don't have any problems with dry hair or flaking skin. I'm also aware of numerous others who have the same results. The only one I wouldn't use for an extended length of time is the Ice formula, I believe it contains silicone, and that will dry out hair. |
i just use the Deep Conditioner - I just put enough on and comb it through then rinse her off really, really good. I mean it - really good rinsing. Then after towel drying I pou a little Cowboy Magic on as I blow dry. I can comb her for about a week before she gets grimy enough to switch to the pin brush. |
thanks guys, actually I was having doubts about long term use, now I feel so much better, I used the classic care as conditioner, and ice shine as shampoo (which I won't use anymore). I've heard people saying pantene products contain silicone, is it just the ice formula? cuz I read through the ingridents list on the classic care conditioner and didn't see anything like it. I guess if you are really concerned about rinsing the conditioner off, you could think about using after bath from chrinstensen, that should help! |
Silicone in hair products is usually called dimethicone. Look for that. |
Ignorant Brit! Just wondering... is Pantene over there human shampoo like it is here or a brand for dogs? Also if it is human shampoo, I thought it wasn't good for dogs? I bath Gypsy every 5-7 days as she gets greasy quickly, do you think I could use it on her that often or once in a while? Would I have to wait till she is older, 15wks today? Oh, and there is loads of different types... which do you use to get the best results???? Oh, I ask toooo many questions when I don't know something... I'm like a kid!!!! |
After rinsing the shampoo off, I put Pantene Pro-V Intensive Treatment, leave it on Maggie for about 7-10 minutes and then rinse really good... The result is OUTSTANDING!!!:dribble: ;) Katiuscia & Maggie...:aimeeyork :aimeeyork |
I bought some of this and I am going to try it on Jewels |

My personal experience is that human products have not hurt Ruyb's coat at all. I've have bathed her every 4-5 days for the past 7 mos, using primarily Pantene or other human hair products. I use the Protein-V formula, the Smooth/Sleek formula, and Aussie 3-min. miracle conditioner. For Christmas I was given Crown Royale Bio-vite shampoo and have been using it recently, the result I get with it are no better/worse than human products. |

How old was Ruby when you first started to use it on her? I know you posted that you used if from day one but I didn't know if you'd had her from a pup. I love the smell of pantene and her puppy shampoo is nearly gone so I'm thinking of trying her with some, but not the colour formula. |
