I read all your posts on Ella and I couldn't stop thinking of what you were going through and I even shared your posts with some friends at work just cause it bothered me. I am so sorry for your loss but I do know bringing home another puppy is good medicine and especially since she is related to Ella, you still have some similarities. I just wondered did you get her checked at the vet with blood work so that you know she doesn't have the same problem geneticly as Ella did? I would hate to have to go through all that again and loose a second one. My prayers are with you that she is healthy and will make you happy many years!! Congrats on getting Nessa, she is a doll!

ella was a very healthy little girl, there was a Horrible accident thats why she passed away, there was NO genetic health problems at all, the accident that happened is what caused ella to pass away

Nessa has been to the Vet and is a healthy little girl .....and im Taking her on Monday to get her second round of puppy shots

Aubrey, I know that on your original thread someone suggested that there was a "reason" behind the accident. That was hard for you to hear at the time, but I truly believe that the poster meant no hurt, and had something like the above in mind.

To me, it is a huge COMFORT to believe that there is a "reason" behind everything that happens, good or bad. The Bible says that God works everything for good. Often, we never see the "good" that comes from "bad", and will never know the "reason" that these things are allowed to happen...or at least, we won't until we get to heaven.

HOW BLESSED ARE YOU that you are able to see and experience, NOW, that promise coming true!!! ....out of so much sadness....another little life is being saved. I truly believe that God's loving hand guided the breeder in discovering the situation of neglect, and every other emotion and event, of EVERYONE involved, that has led Nessa to you now.

AND WHAT A BEAUTY SHE IS! You chose a perfect name for her, and I just know that she will bring you years of joy and healing laughter!
