Cheaper by the Dozen! I spent a little time playing on the computer on my day off and came up with a composite photo of our 12 pack. They are shown in the order of their ages and they pretty much go by weight also with Tucker weighing in at 14.5 lb down to Peanut who weighs 2.5 lb of holly terror! Tucker and Reggie (R.I.P.) were the parents of Sassy, MoJo, Sissy, and Bo. Sassy and Gizmo are the parents of Dinky and Peanut Sissy and Gizmo are the parents of Roxie Feebie and Dinky just had a litter on Dec. 22nd. Dinky's first litter, Feebie's second. Reggie (R.I.P) and Gizmo are the parents of Lovey Girl and Star. Lovey is so much like her mama it is spooky. The only difference is their size and color and Reggie loved to be brushed. Lovey.....no way, no how! Tucker, Sassy, MoJo, Sissy Gizmo, Bo, Roxie, Feebie Dinky, Lovey Girl, Star, and Peanut I think I need a dozen more! |
forgot to add..... 1 Attachment(s) The picture.......... |
MoJo belongs to our son but stays with us for the time being while our son works out of state. Bo is our mentally challenged baby. Due to an accident at 2 weeks old, Bo is not the brightest kid on the block and has seizures now and then but with each litter we have, he learns just a little bit more. He freaks out if he gets a hair in his mouth and spins, spins, and spins some more. It's only been a little more than a year that he can walk across the floor in a fairly straight line but he still can't do steps at all. It's only been this last year that he discovered females in heat. His little tail wags like crazy but when she moves away, he forgets about it and will go lay down. He will be 4 this coming October 29th. I know I should down size but how can I let any of these kids go? How does one decide who stays and who should go? I can't do it! |

Every night when he gets ready to go to bed, he sits up in his chair and before he can say anything, Roxie's ears pop up and she's waiting for him at the steps. One evening he got up to go to the bathroom and mouthed that he was going to bed....early because he wasn't feeling well. Roxie was snuggled next to me and didn't pay an attention to him because it was "not time." He stood there for a minute and then said he was going to bed. She flew off the couch like a rocket. They do make us laugh a lot. |
Linda, this is SUPER! I love reading happy times.... it must be a pure bundle of FUN in your house.... I am so thankful everyday that I have a little piece of Reggie with me... my little Hopey... she is the spitting image of Star and looks like she may end up ver light silver! her head is all silver now, she has very little golden left... she is BEAUTIFUL!I think about you and Reggie everytime she barks at that dang "fly farting" ... LOL... she is very jumpy and scairdy cat baby! If I could, I would try for a dozen myself.... I sure hope we can get together this when Reggies girls have a birthday! that would be just too cool! Keep writing, I love reading these stories.... P.S. I made your "dozen" my background.... I love looking at it! d |

2 Attachment(s) Dusty, Peanut and Kira Grandkids Emilee holding Dusty and Korey holding Kira |
Lovey Girl 4 Attachment(s) Mister MoJo has the mojo. He is so fast, wham-bam and he's in. I didn't realize Lovey was in heat and MoJo nailed her. I was hoping she was not fertile but sure enough, Jan 2nd she gave birth to 2 little boys, Prospero and Anio. Emilee named them for Happy New Year as Lovey had false labor on New Years Day. Prospero didn't make it. He was born with a hair lip. Anio is doing just fine and had his tail docked today. He is dark and more than likely have similar colors to Star but then, he might turn light. Just have to wait and see. |
4 Attachment(s) Star is really still a little girl. Roxie still cleans her as if she was a pup. Roxie has been very curious with the new puppies in the house. And Roxie crawled into the cage with Lovey thinking she needed some help. She actually layed down in the nursing position and tried to get the Anio to nurse. Lovey wasn't to thrilled but I guess that she has a bond with Roxie and only made a soft growl. I had to pull Roxie out of the cage and keep the door shut to keep her out. You can see the difference in the color of Dinky and Star. She is more gray to his raven black. Her ears may look tanish in the picture but they are actually light gray. |
Little Miss Independent 3 Attachment(s) All of our yorkies love to cuddle and give kisses. And when you see this sweet little face, don't let her innocent look fool you. Peanut is cute as a button but not a cuddler or kisser. She is 2.5 pounds of holly terror, does not like to be held, shakes like a leaf if you take her anywhere other than "her" room. She's like a Mexican jumping bean when it's time to go outside and bounces all over on all fours until she ends up on the pillow so I can pick her up and set her outside. If I don't put her out the door, she runs back in the room. At least I don't have to go out and get her. She does come in the house on her own. She likes to pick on Roxie, pull on her tail and drag her around the room. She and Star gang up and beat on Roxie all the time. I have to get a picture of her standing up. When the vet docked her tail, he left it considerably longer than usual. She looks strange with the longer tail, that looks almost as long as her short little legs, and it stands straight up in the air. |
Linda, I love all your yorkies. They truely are such sweethearts. They will crawl in your lap and give you kisses and then roll over for a belly rub. I just love all of them!! If you need to downsize I could take Roxie or Feebie off your hands.;) I can't wait to see you and your yorkie crew again!! Hopefully everything will work out and we can have a reunion for Reggie's girls!!! |

That is sooo awesome! Your babies are all soooo gorgeous! :hearts6: |
3 Attachment(s) Roxie, on the right, was the substitute mama who developed milk sent from heaven to feed Lovey Girl and her 4 sisters, Star, Faith, Hope and Charity. Lovey has her first pup January 2nd and Roxie thought she needed to help. You can see that mother instinct as she continues to "mother" Lovey. |
What a beautiful family and a beautiful story. I hope you are writing a book. |
I love, love, love the color of Dinky. Really dark. I would love to have one that looked just like him. |
