my yorkies are rare 3 Attachment(s) My yorkies are rare but, never the less they are 100% yorkie. To clear up all the misconceptions about the parti yorkie, both of my parti yorkies are AKC reg.and have all yorkies in thier pedagree. These dogs have a recessive gene that gives them the tri-coloring. In a recessive trait you can have two carriers and have a 25% chance of having a parti colored yorkie. if you have a parti and a carrier you have a50% chance. If you have two parties you will have all parti yorkies. This is why they are rare. these are my babies halo and mojo. i plan to breed them in a few months. so look out for puppy pics. They are going to be adorable. If you are interested in one of these puppies let me know. |
How old are they, they look awfully young to breed. They are very pretty though... |
I think your furbabies are gorgeous  I cannot wait to see their offsprings |
re:lexie mom The female is 9mon old and the male is 5. my vet said second heat for halo and six months for mojo. so thats when we will let them breed. |
re: tigers mom thanks! |
3 Attachment(s) The parti yorkie has been breed and registered in Germany for 20 years. They are called Biewer Yorkshire Terrier a la Pom Pons. Some people in the United State (and Canada) have imported Biewers and are trying to stay true to the standards set forth by Werner and Gertrude Biewer. Much has been learned in the short 20 years of the tricolored yorkie's existence, but much has yet to be learned too. To be registered as a Biewer there are certain characteristics that must be met. White tip on tail (not docked), four white paws and legs, White belly, white on head (symetry is preferred), The back can have the darker color. The head should have three colors. The standard still says 7 pounds and under. The coat and build should be that of a yorkie, since they are after all full yorkies and nothing mixed in. The coat pattern does come from a recessive gene, called the piebald gene. Since it is recessive the puppy must get this gene from both parents. Two Biewers will always have Biewer pups. |
akc recoginizes them ? |
re:shadow Yes the are AKC reg. |
Are the Crownridge gems or Summitt yorkies? They are beautiful. |

Lovely kids! NOTHING NEW TO US here on YT though! We've seen the whole gambit on the rainbow spectrum of our fabulous breed here. Thanks for the photos! Keep 'em comin'. ;) :yorkiesar |
AKC will register the partis that have AKC parents, but you cannot show them. The Biewers, registered in Germany, can be shown through International All Breed Canine Association or Rarities and North American Kennel Club. It is my goal to breed quality dogs that meet the standard, much like many AKC breeders. I want to breed to increase the quality of this new breed. I can proudly say that my young male is one of the few Biewers to receive the title of BIS rare breed puppy. |
They are so cute... |
Just curious... I have a sincere question, how are these A.K.C. registered? I have a female the same age as your male and the A.K.C. registration papers I got with her show only 4 color patterns, as does their website, and none of those include white. |
I was curious of how much a parti Yorkie may cost? I love this breed of Yorkie, they are just so beautiful! |
