| Well, with all his tricks we found that the most efficient way was to just sort of make him do the trick and then give him a treat right after. For instance with the "playing dead" trick, we would gently push him to that position while yelling out "bang!" and then we'd give him a treat immediately. After several tries, he just got the hang of it. He also knows how to sit, lay, give high 5's, roll over, walk on his hind legs and speak. And we always used that technique. Hope this helps! |
