Tiger's mom suggested I start a thread for my little Gracie. I don't have her yet. The breeder says she is tiny, but quite outgoing. Here are pics of the litter and of my Gracie May at 3 weeks of age. She was born on 6/10/06.

Thanks everyone. Oh yes, Des and I have been talking as I have already ordered a magenta ultrasuede t-harness with a yorkie charm, and matching leash and bow! I have it bad, I know....it fills the wait time. I hope my credit cards hold out!

Gracie came home today!
 
What a wonderful day it has been. I met Gracie at the ferry dock. She was so scared. She calmed down after I cuddled her, and put her in her crate. She was miss popularity on the ferry ride home. The rules are she was to be in her crate or on a leash. She was on my lap. Every ferry employee had to come up and say hello. Not one word said about rules! I got her home about 2:00. She had not eaten since 7am, though I gave her some Nutrical before we left the ferry terminal to drive home. She licked it right off my finger. I got her home, she ate a little and drank a little, then crashed in her crate on her comfort pup bed (I didn't even turn the heartbeat on). She is out like a light. This is one darling little girl. She so loves to be held! My cats each introduced themselves before she fell asleep. Not one peep out of any of them. It was almost as if the cats were saying, "what in the heck is that?". Not one hiss. I'm sure that this serene scene will not last long. The breeder said that Gracie is really outgoing. I can hardly wait to see that side of her. Well, I am going to join her for a nap. I'll check in later.

Ah, the princess of Bellevue has finally arrived home and is settling quite nicely in her new surroundings . . . From here on, your life will no longer be the same :cool: . . .in a wonderful way of course. You will find out that this little bundle of joy will take charge of your life and schedule :p

Cannot wait to hear more about Gracie May's first day HOME.

Mayzie Grace and Gracie May must be sisters somehow! Ha Ha. I will post some pics when she wakes up. Her bed has a stuffed dog attached to it. She has crawled completely under the dog and is still zonked. Poor baby, such a hard day she has had!

Here is Gracie May modeling her new T-shirt, covered with pink and blue hearts and says "I love boys". Just wait till her Daddy gets home! She will be grounded for a week!

Can you tell which are the stuffed animals and which is the real thing? Gracie had a hard day. She went for a two hour car ride and socialized with several clients. I snuck her in, in her Juicy bag. No one had a clue! This afternoon, she took a long walk on her leash and harness. Poor thing is tuckered out. She is eating really good today, and not crying nearly as much. She thinks life might be good!

She is so freaking cute! You must be the happiest mommy in the world right now! I love the name- I have a Gracie and my mom always calls her Gracie May (said with exaggerated southern accent). Congratulations!!!

First Doctor Visit and Thank You All!
 
Miss Gracie May had her first vet visit today and checked out 100%. She was so well behaved! She licked the vet's finger, put up with the exam then fell asleep on the exam table while mommy and the dr. chatted. The Dr. says I'm doing everything right. Thanks to all of you for the great help! Can you believe that my tiny Gracie weighs 1 lb. 13 oz? The vet says she still might only get to 4-5 lbs., time will tell. After the vet, we went to PetCo. Gracie was facinated by the bunny rabits and ferrits. She picked out two new toys and some new food. She is crashed in her crate now. Just had to share her weight with you and to say thank you for preparing me so well for these first few days with Gracie.
