Glad Jack is back! And so glad to hear he is named after Jack Daniels....none of that sissy tequila stuff, just good old whiskey for us!!! Right Jack???

I am so glad Jack's surgery went well and he is back home recovering. I will keep you guys in my thoughts and prayers as he recovers. Thanks for sharing those pictures....Jack is precious in his cast!!

Jack, If Eddie is too mean- just slip out that back door and come on down to Texas! I know you don't like that snow. It is sunny and a warm 64 here today. I'll share my bed with you- we can kick all these dumb toys out and snuggle with each other :kiss: I think you look real sexy with that shaved butt.

Welcome HOME, Jackie D!!! You know Eddie and your Dad, Mom, and Granny missed you WICKED while you were gone, and SO DID your aunts and uncles on YT!! Now you lay low, little boy, and don't let Eddie tease you into making any fast moves, OK, baby? Loads of get well licks coming from Dreama and Wosie, and honey pats from Aunti G!!

Wosie wants me to send you this picture so you can see that you're not the only one who had a shaved hiney!! But she says that hopefully YOUR Daddy won't call YOU what HER Daddy called HER while she was recovering!!! He called her BALDY-BUTT!!! :eek:

I don't get a chance to sit at my computer much anymore, so this is all new to me. (Eddie getting a brother) So I went back to read all the posts that I missed about it all. I do think your a saint and Jack is a very lucky little boy, maybe his life hasn't been all that good up to now, but the skys have opened and I know his life just got that must brighter, Only because there are people as wonderful as you!! So give yourself a pat on the back, dear friend because you do deserve it! Now please bend down and give some kisses and hugs to Jack and Eddie for all of us!!
PS: My girls, Bell and Lilly wish your boys lived closer!!! :p

How's Jack doing this morning now that the dope has worn off??

I know he looks pitiful now, but my my friend's dog had a cast on, and after a couple of days, you wouldn't believe how fast he could motor around with it on.

BTW-I babysat said dog for a weekend, and we had the best time making up stuff to tell people when they asked why he had a cast on. Hubby came up with some really creative and outrageous responses! You might want to start thinking up some good ones... :p :p

I dont know how I missed this all happening! But im glad to hear that everything went smoothly!!!! There honestly needs to be more people like you in the world.

When Turbie started limping I was scared she had the same thing but it was just a low grade LP that probably wont need surgery for a long time.

Get well soon Jack!!!!! :) (Hows Eddy taking to all the attention Jack gets? lol)

Did you ask the doctor is you could cut the patch in half or something? Maybe that would help with the pain and not make him so spacey??

Aww, thanks Mini! I think that's Jack's first formal offer, and he accepts. But he feels like he has a lot of Valentines this year already.

Well, am I ever late reading this. I am so happy to hear that JACK is mending at home. He has a lot of prayers being said and a lor of poeple pulling for him.
Is there an address we can use tomaybe send a donation to the vet for you to help pay for his care? I would be glad to halp with those expenses as I think rescues are the responsibility of us all..
