Jack settles in 4 Attachment(s) Overnight, Eddie has turned into an alpha male. He has always been a spoiled brat, but now he's having to fight for his affection. He's proving to be good at it. He gave Jack one good thrashing over a toy, but there are some encouraging signs. If toys aren't involved, he tolerates the little guy pretty well. And in true terrier fashion, Jack is not afraid of Eddie. Here are some pics. I'm never sure of what order they show up in, but here are some captions: 1. Jack in Eddie's sweater. He doesn't do snow anywhere NEAR as well as Eddie. 2. Jack gets his first bath. 3. Eddie visits me at work. (Notice headline on the computer screen!) 4. Eddie poses for the obligatory work YT shot. :eek: I always thought Eddie was really small too!! My gosh, he looks like a "2 litre" next to a 12 oz. can with Jack!! :) He's still small and sweet! It will just take time for both of them to adjust. Love the headline .... but just below it ... mercury in tuna?!? I haven't heard about that .... maybe we need to subscribe to your paper, you certainly have better front page pictures than we do!! :rolleyes: Love your new addition and I'll bet in a few months, you will wonder how you ever got along without Jack!! ;) |

I SEE What YOU do at work - I LOVE your setup and little Eddie in front of the computer was a BONUS :D I agree with Bettyanne - I always visioned Eddie as this little tiny boy ...that snow must dwarf him ! lol - He is SO CUTE .... and as far as being the Alpha Boy with the toys - be ready for that - My girls still have those take down tiffs....then they kiss and make up...It's really cute.....they don't actually "fight" but they do wrestle....You're in for some fun with those 2 cuties .. |

Wow! The side by side shot is awesome! :D I love the perspective of Eddie the Giant! Boy, Jack really cleans up nice!! What a handsome boy! :p And that headline is pretty darn cool, you funny guy you! :D I know you and Kelly are so happy having two boys, and I know eventually they pups will be the very best of friends. But it will be very important for Eddie to be Alpha dog, as he was there FIRST and he needs to show Jack that. Interestingly, there is none of that with Wosie, and it could just be that she is still a puppy and Dreama is four so Wosie doesn't care to be Alpha, and Dreama is too shy to be. They have finally begun to play a tiny bit, not much, but at least they started. Hooray! Have fun with your two!! I am so pleased for you and Kelly! |
:D I think it's just so awesome you have two now. I'm still getting used to it, LOL :D In time Jack and Eddie will be best of buds and I'm sure Eddie will show Jack exactly how "snow fun" is to be enjoyed. They both need little sleds you can pull them around on, hahahaahha. Also, the pictures are wonderful and I think it's so cool that Jack made the front page. Don't get to see that too often and YT has a new celebrity!! Whoo-whoooo!! ;) |

Oh I love your pictures. I know your feeling of Eddie being the giant. My daughter had her Yorkie first and he weighs 7 lbs. My KimMee weighs 4 lbs before a haircut. When they are together it is amazing how big Eddie is at 7 lbs. I bet Eddie will have Jack loving the snow in no time. How could he not catch that fever? Too much fun. congrats |

Pictures are Great!!! I was going to say all that hair will never work in an Alaska winter but at 4lbs I think it would be best to keep until it warms up, don't you. So glad Eddie is alpha ( was there ever any doubt :D ) but glad Jack is holding his own. They are so cute together. Love the one of Eddie watching Jack's bath. Is that Jack that made the front page of the paper?? |
I can't think of bigger news than "New Yorkie in Town!" How big is Eddie, again? I always thought he was a little peanut, but he does look like Eddie Schwartzenegger in that photo! In no time Eddie and Jack will be best buds! |
