We made it home As the title says we made it home. The morning started out gray, rainy and overcast. Low ceilings meant flying was out of the question. There was no chance of clearing early. So we called the breeder to reschedule our appointment to this morning!! Up at 5am for coffee and breakfast , then to the hangar and preflight the plane. First light, and we are airborne. A nice 1.25hr flight down, there the breeder was waiting for us. As we had already been down twice to visit we had agreed to a quick swap and paper work transfer and we were back in the air. Another 1.5hr flight home(head winds) and we were down and back in the hangar. Little Niki slept the entire way home with her little home made mutt muff on snuggled up to her snuggle puppy. She is now raring to go and has made herself right at home. She and the cat are buddies and have been running around the house playing. Fun to watch. Here is a pic of a quick second that she claimed her bed. Isn't she proud!! |

LOL, I see a feisty lil girl there, congratulations, sounds like she's off to a good start with the kitty as her partner in crime lol. She's adorable, have fun with her these puppy days go by so fast. |

Thank you. She is definitely feisty!!! Full of energy and eating like she hadn't been fed in days. I know she had because she was eating in the pilot lounge while took care of the paperwork. According to the breeder the pups played with a cat and the poor cat would have to go hide after about 5 minutes because it couldn't handle the 4 of them. Our Munchkin Cat, Aero, weighs 8.5lbs. Nikita weighs about 2.2lbs. I can only imagine how fast they go... Just seeing the difference in her 10wk images and her 12wk images, the growth is amazing... |
