Oh, ok I though she was taking them because she had some sort of an allergy. We also do the three year vacs whenever possible. Saves money and several 45 mins trips per year to out vets.

Aww that sweet face. I am glad all she had was stink eye for you and no reaction. Glad she had potato skin and a cookie to ease the pain And the the hair, lol . . . I get it. Even though I change right before I go out I still have hair on me. Lmao

Yeah, she liked the potato skin. She didn't get any of the cheese or bacon though.

On a better note - her Daddy cooked dinner today so she has forgiven me and is now giving Daddy the cold shoulder hehe

Aww, it is really sad to see them so scared about the vet!

I took mine to get her first rabies shot just a few days ago and they took her in the back without me to do it (I wasn't happy about that, was so nervous waiting for her to get back). When they got back, they had washed her butt because she had pooped when they gave her the shot! She really doesn't like the vet, poor baby.

Oh, my vet knows I'm "that crazy dog lady". I told him from the beginning. I'm switching vets next month because I still don't like a lot about my vet. But the new one wouldn't do a 3 year rabies vac the first time they saw her.

Anyway, no way in heck would they take my baby out of my sight during shots. Never even had a vet try to do that. Wonder why yours did...?

I always give my girls a couple cc children's benadryl before we leave for the vet. That way it's set in by the time the vet comes in and they're ready to go, plus it saves me $15.

Poor Mandie...I had no idea she was so nervous about those types of things. I bet she's much better today.

You know, we get the Benadryl too and our vet has never charged me for it. We really have the most wonderful vet, though. I'm so lucky to have found her.

Poor baby... I hate taking my two to the vet. They shake and shivver and I feel like such a horrible momma.
