Our new baby, Oli 3 Attachment(s) Here are a few pictures of our newest little girl, Oli. We adopted her a few weeks ago. After losing our precious angel, October on April 14th - I decided I could not bear having a home without a sweet Yorkie to fill it. Some people may feel it is too soon after losing such a special part of our hearts and lives, but God gave Oli to us in His timing and for that we are so thankful. While I wasn't sure how soon we would get another Yorkie, God already had plans on how and when that would take place. She is a little rescue girl (just like our sweet October) and she flew all the way to NC (where we live) from Colorado. She got to fly with the lady of the rescue in cabin on the flight so she would not be scared. Oli is five years old and the sweetest cuddle bug. Oli has not replaced October, and I miss October more and more each day. I still cannot believe she is gone - she was with me 24/7 and she was the most special angel bear (as we called her) in the world. It is so hard and the most difficult thing I've ever experienced, losing our sweet girl. With all the loss and grief we continue to experience daily, Oli has filled our home with such love. So I just wanted to share her picture with everyone at YT. |
Such a sweetie pie!! I know she will help you heart's healing. I am so sorry for your loss of October. |
Oli is so cute and looks so sweet! I totally understand your loss of October and the need to fill your empty arms with a new, ball of sweetness. Bless you for bringing Oli into your heart! :) |
Awh what a cutie!! |
Adorable! I love the first pic:D |
She is a sweetie! |
She could be my Callie's twin! The resembelance is amazing! I will try to post a pic of Callie tonight. Callie also is a rescue who came to us after the loss of our beloved Bichon, Ben, in March. These precious little girls do not fill the hole left by the ones we have lost, but they help us to move on. And that is what our angles at the Rainbow Bridge would want us to do. Their need for us is as great as our need for them! Bless you for being Oli's new mama! |
awh what a cutie!! congrats!!! |

I would absolutely LOVE to see a picture of your Callie, I know my husband would love to see a picture as well. I look forward to it! I am so very sorry about the loss of sweet Ben - I completely know the loss you feel. My aunt has a Bichon named Noah. I truly understand how you feel about losing him - I feel the same about October. I'd give anything to hold her once more and kiss her once more, but I know I will see her again and that you will see Ben again as well. You are right - we need them just as much as they need us. That is just so true. I can't wait to see little Callie and thank you for your kindness. |
Thank you to each one of you! Thank you to each one of you for saying such kind words about Oli. And thank you for your condolences on our angel, October. Being on YT with others who know how deeply we love our little ones has been most comforting. Hugs to each of you and thank you again for being so kind. |

I understand your feelings exactly! We lost our Gretel last December and brought Princess Sophie home early March. It really is a difficult time but I know your new baby will help to ease the pain. Blessings to you and your new pup! Such a cutie pie!!! |
