meet jobi, devil on 4 legs
 
Jobi is 4 years old . best guestamate. He is from ohio animal shelter society.
He was owner surrendered by animal hoarders, so i am assuming they were given an option to surrender him or have him taken away. They said they got him from a "give-away". The animal shelter society said he was not good with people and were putting him down. Pixie mama rescue took him back to Buffalo and fostered him. They said his hair was matted to his skin. they had to shave him completely. My sister and 4 members of my family drove down from Toronto, Canada to Niagara falls where the rescue was kind enough to drive to, to get him. Jobi went through serious separation anxiety. messing in the room and running through it all day, howling and jumping for 9 hours when I left for work. yet others were home. head butting the kennel if i put him in it ect. BUt now the sun is shining and he is in obedience and he is finally giving me kisses, which took a year and a half. He is sniffing other dogs and happily eating my nieces barbie collection.. life is good.

Jobi is absolutely adorable!!! He sure doesn't look like a devil on 4 legs....more like an angel w a crooked halo!

Jobi is an absolute doll! What a long way he has come! Love how he looks and he obviously loves his mommy too!! You are an angel to rescue this beautiful pup! Kudos!!

Kudos to you for taking in this poor little wild boy and not giving up on him thru all the terrible things he went thru. You are truly an angel. Love the picture of you and Jobi. Hope you don't take offense to my saying.........he truly found his mommy and you both look a lot alike with your brown coloring. ;)

Thank you our sweet boy has had his share of issues but he will 8 in June and is doing amazing!:) My husband and I are so thankful:)

Jobi is adorable and blessed to have found his home with you. Thank you for giving him the love and care that he needed to be a great doggy. :)

hahah no offense taken..:) i thought the same thing may times lol and we both have a double recessive gene lol

thanks guys, yes, jobi is something else. and has been through alot. His name is actually from the bible Job. The story of Job is struggle and many trials and tests that were given to him by God. He lost his children all dead, his house, his wife, his land etc, and stil had faith. This is how i see Jobi. He still had the faith and strength to trust again. i can't think of a better name for him.:)


ps: teresa, what is the therapy yorkies about?

How cute Jobi is and how kind of you to save him and patiently rehabilitate him. He sure looks happy now.
I feel for poor Barbie though, her situation did not look good! Hope Jobi did not get indigestion from his activity.

ahh thank you, i think he has one of those iron pot belly stomachs, he also ate my night guard. the kind that is silicone??? you put it in hot water and form it around your teeth.. i put it on a chair in my room on top of a pile of laundry.and went to the bathroom. later that day, i cleared the chair and could not find it. that ws a year ago.. so .. he ate it..lol

Thank you, she was named after the Jersey cow because of her colour....didn't realize her colour was actually the Holstein...lol!

I can't stand this weather...cant wait for spring to break through...is it here yet??? :rolleyes:
