Aww... What a sweet girl! You are both so lucky to have found each other! :heart to |
What a beautiful girl :) Thank you for rescuing her. |
Aww, what a sweetheart and what an improvement! Congratulations. :D |
Excellent rescue job! BRILLIANT!:D |
Thank you all for all the kind comments! Louise had her vet check yesterday, and aside from a slight ear infection (now being treated), she got a clean bill of health! Shot were given (she did NOT like that and sulked the rest of the day) and an appointment for boosters and a teeth cleaning was made. We can't schedule her spay appointment until I am sure she is not pregnant. The doctor and his assistant fell totally in love with Louise. But seriously, who could look into her eyes and NOT fall in love? |
Congrats...Louise is just darling! The change with you love & care is beautiful!:) |
Very cute |
Thank you, Perrella and LILBIT. (just a note..... I know that unplanned breeding/litters are frowned upon, and I am seriously hoping that Louise is not pregnant, for her own good. But my vet cautioned me to wait to spay due to the stress. Louise was dumped at the shelter, left cold and alone among loud unnown dogs and brought to a new home with two strange humans, two cats and another dog (who just happens to love her). He was concerned that a spay surgery this soon could be too much for her. We are all hoping that, although she was at the end of her heat cycle when she was left at the shelter, she is not pregnant. If she is, and if the puppies appear to be too big for her to deliver safely, we will do what we need to do to protect her. But ONLY if it is necessary.) |
